My first photo reaching (months ago) 1000 views, and still the most popular: a daily scene and a lovely image, not only because of the cute ladies, but mainly for the many beautiful things it says about Japan and Japanese people.

The early morning train travelling towards Moor St Station. A little blurry but I hope it conveys the feeling of a city waking up. Birmingham City FC Football stadium is on the horizon.

Another shot of the Sierra Valley in Plumas County, CA. The large version looks better.

The picture is from the last days of last year. Driving to work on a backroad. The frost touching the grass. The low sun striking everything with a warm glow. I was an hour late getting to work ;-)

Another view of Selfridges but this time I loved the cloud formation about the building.

I was minded from yesterday to post this as it's just across the bay from Killiney which lies in Co Dublin, so it gives you a idea of what a nice rail journey it is. It's a really inexpensive day trip on frequent commuter trains for anyone visiting Dublin.
