in the depths of munich's sendlinger tor station, a woman stands, bathed in the glow of warm, orange light reflecting her silhouette on the ceiling. her stillness contrasts with the speeding train beside her, capturing a fleeting moment in the city's fast-paced rhythm. her posture suggests patience, while the station's vibrant colors and sleek lines add a touch of modern elegance to the scene, amplifying the balance between movement and stillness.

morning light spills onto munich's center, painting paths with a golden brush. amidst this interplay of light and shadow, a cyclist becomes the artist, his two-wheeled steed casting a long, dark echo on the concrete canvas. pedaling through the cool air, his form is hunched in concentration, a solitary figure on the urban stage where the sun directs a daily performance. every turn of the wheel is a silent note in the city's waking symphony, a fleeting connection between the still-slumbering world and the break of day.

A dull day and on my daily commute. Two trains together. I noticed In the picture the guy with the blue sports kit on. When I caught the next train, he realised he was on the wrong platform.

This was taken with my 40mm prime lens. It annoys me because I have to work at getting the picture I want from it not the picture it shows me. It is very frustrating as I have to move around to get the better angles :)

Why do I still use it? It can take a crisp sharp picture and some of the better pictures on my Flickr stream have been taken with it.

This is a picture of two trams moving in and out of the City of Birmingham. I got some good reactions to it on my Twitter account.

The sun was so bright that I had to use both filters to soften it.

A Northern Rail 158 on the 19.25 Leeds - Carlisle evening service passes over the 24 arches of this spectacular viaduct which makes a dramatic statement across this remote wild spot, in which up to a 100 Navvies died during it's 4 year construction in 1874.

I was set the task of street photography by Aggie. It is a style that I don't look out for but if pushed will do it :) so I took lots of pictures but I like this one as it reminds me of the song "Homeward Bound" by Simon and Garfunkel. I also like the guy's shopping bag as well which I only noticed after the photograph was taken.

OMGawd....how long do we have to wait?

Of late, one of the few mornings I got to go out shooting and was bad weather :(. So I parked my car and decided to take the train...never done that in 4+ years ! - A journey of discovery.

I got off at the Tanah Merah station to change the train, and saw this - Shot right from the back - I alighted from the last bogey and had less than a minute to fire away.

Handheld 5 exposures blending.- smartobjects. manually blended 2 exposures ontop of the composite. Some grads+masking to make the scene darker.

Busy today as the Aston Expressway was closed due to the discovery of a World War II bomb. Chaos if you were driving.

This photo was taken early this morning on my way to work and I just could not resists stopping every few hundred meter to capture the fall at its peak, mind you I was almost an hour late for work but what the heck... I just needed to skip my lunch hour.

No one mentioned it was a 0.5s exposure day. ;)
