Here's a side by side comparison: an official Bumba illustration on the right and my LEGO Bumba MOC on the left.
Bumba the clown
This MOC had some fun challenges. For instance, the inside construction of Bumba's head and placing his heart perfectly tight on his rounded tummy. His head, arms and feet can be posed. Bumba comes with his Sticky Magico.
Tumbi the elephant
The hardest part was making the rug on Tumbi's back stick out 1 plate thick on all sides. Also, It took me a while to figure out how to make the round shape for the circus pedestal. It has studs on top to attach Tumbi.
Gwido the penguin
Nothing to fancy here, just a fun build of a penguin on a giant skateboard!
Magic rabbit
A rabbit peeping out of a high hat. The classic magic trick everybody loves 😄
Ken Silkstone Tailored Tuxedo
Frederik, JID Kyle Iplehouse
GT, Taeyang Gyro

Following a request for a photo of dolls 53cm tall and smaller, I found it quite difficult to photograph these dolls all together,
But this is my attempt anyway, sorry some of the smaller dolls have not photographed too clearly but this is simply a size comparison :)
Left to right: Dollstown Elf 53cm; Pashapasha doll 53cm; Yukidoll 49cm; Popovy Doll 41cm; InspireDoll 41cm; Bardo Research 40cm; Natalia Loseva doll 37cm.
I hope you find this useful .
London Transport MCW Metrobus M1104, one of a small batch delivered with to LT with Cummins L10 engines. They were operated and compared in service with conventional Gardner powered examples- like M1228 parked alongside- at Brixton garage.
i got my new Adele gold glam today. Adele skintone is a bit lighter than Dominique.however i think it's ok to sawap her head not too much different :)
A quick comparison between the Simpsons' House set (left) and my own build. While the set is exactly 48 studs wide - the allotted space I have on my layout - I wanted the Simpsons to at least have some semblance of a yard. Also, the set was somewhat inaccurate in certain areas so I wanted to fix that, too.
The only thing that's really similar in the two builds, aside from color, is the front door and bay windows (although if they ever come out with 1x2 cheese slopes in brown, I'll be replacing the tops of the bay windows).
Comparison pictures of tawny skin (left), old cream white (middle), and new cream white (right).
Pictures were taken in natural, indirect sunlight.
A really small comparison set this time. Basically I just wanted to include the DIM G.S.E body to show how big it really is. I also no longer have access to a MNF girl so I switched that to a boy (he's pretty much the same size anyway), and then added a WD boy for the hell of it too.
Line up from left to right:
- FL Mini Feé boy body (ws) + DoD Tender Too head (ns)
- Withdoll boy body (ns) (muscle definition sanded down)
- Withdoll girl body (grey)
- DIM G.S:E large bust body (ns) + IH JID Isar head (ws)
- Bimong Narae small bust (ns)
- Supia minisup girl body (ws) + WD Cathy head (ws)
When I saw the picture on the right it reminded me immediately of Clownesque Nadja 😄

Resin comparison between various companies I did with my friends in our large group gathering.
SQlab is realskin white (said to match volk's white)
Withdoll is rosy white
Soom's white is Serin Rico batch = paper white
No yellowing.
I actually took this picture a few days ago but forgot to upload it ^^; Unfortunately, I'm not super fond of Haru so I doubt I'll ever get the purple Haru to toss in future photos but I am definitely already in love with the new Egyptian Sophie

Don't know about you but I prefer last version.^^
I figure that a lot of people will be wondering how big Kikipop is next to different dolls, so I went ahead and did some comparison shots of all the different types of dolls I have!

Cleverly, Nottingham City Transport E400 City 433 had been parked alongside Nottingham Heritage Vehicles Leyland Atlantean 433 at Autokarna 2018. This provided the perfect opportunity to compare the two.
The Nottingham Standard angled destination blind is seen to good effect here. Much less reflection than the E400 Cities.

The enormous HELP bumper on the Atlantean looks imposing!
The man in the black top and blue shorts has also managed to feature twice...
Per request, here is a comparison between the various Guyver 1 models I designed. The picture in the middle is one that was never photographed, but you can see the design has a lot more similarities to the final version than the original. All of these require additional shaping for the facial features.
I've been reading photographers' discussions on various external flash accessories. These are updated comparisons for 6th edition of my textbook, "Photojournalism: The Professionals' Approach."
For these tests, the subject remained at the same distance from the background, and the flash was located nine feet from the subject. Pictures in the left column were taken inside. Those in the right column were taken outside.
From top to bottom, the Indoor/Outdoor comparisons are for:
Direct Flash
Bouncing the flash off a ceiling
Fong diffuser
Lumiquest
Omnidome
Through a softbox
Off an umbrella
Through an umbrella
Outdoors or in a large ballroom or gymnasium, all the accessories work less well at softening shadows. Inside, light scatters off many surfaces. Outside, the scattered light rays coming from the accessories have few surfaces to bounce off.
Notice, in the outdoor series, that the shadow behind the model is darker in almost each situation.
All accessories are subject to the same laws of physics.

Here’s some comparison photos of the new Curvy MTM body next to some other dolls. She’s shorter than the Collectors Curvy body and is closer to the Fashionista Curvy but her limbs are slightly thicker.
She has almost the same poseability as an Original MTM body but due to her thicker body type it ALMOST does the same things anyway. Her ankles are as floppy as original MTM so bleh.
Surprisingly her wrists are compatible with Original MTM, which means it’s compatible with older jointed Barbie dolls with vinyl arms AND DC Super Hero Girl hands.
Her ankles though are completely different so if you were hoping to give her smaller feet you’ll need to mod the doll a lot.
Her skin tone is ALMOST Tropic Tan/Nikki but it’s slightly too pink and light. Still darker than other Caucasian skin tones though.
