and tbh: I wondered myself that Death is smaller than my Petite!!! o.O
Just because we're curious... here's bros Z (L) and E (R) at roughly the same age (4 1/2 mos.)
E's head (above the ears) is huge!
Here we can compare two different species of similar skippers: Silver-spotted Skipper on top, and Hoary Edge below. Boswell Landing, Land Between the Lakes, Tennessee, USA, July 21, 2025.
Both images taken in my basement with minimal lighting. The image on the left is with my Nikon 50mm, and the right taken with my kit lens at about 50mm.
All settings were the same, with the exception of changing the aperture. The 50mm lens was at f/1.4, the kit lens was at f/5.6.

This is a version of Dirk Loechel's excellent size comparison chart of just about every SF spaceship of significance. Lots of folks on lots of sites asked about the Death Star, so I hacked those in using the best estimates of their sizes I could find. This version is about 1/4 the original poster's size.
