NOTE: Only Chris Gray and other nerds (correction, geeks) (in a good way Chris, you know what I mean) should read this....
This is just a bit of a test to see how the d80 internally processes the RAW format file into a jpeg. There are various options to adjust this 'in camera' processing, and I have tinkered a bit, so maybe not a totally fair comparison.
Anyway, image on the left is a camera processed jpeg; Central one is a jpeg of the unprocessed RAW file (ie. pure sensor information); the one on the right is the RAW adjusted in CS2.
The point of this was to work out if processing RAW is worth the hassle. It does depend on the users processing skill quite a bit, so it might be that I just need more experience, but it is (vaguely) interesting to see the difference in the images.
Oh, and I was trying out my new circular polariser from 7dayshop.com, which was a bargain at £5.59!
I look like a complete dork here, but I felt like a size comparison would be cool.
This sign stood above a building on South Broad Street since around 1955. It was taken down April 19, 2007 to make room for a new retail development in this rather run-down area.

Took a comparison photo of the no-bangs Abbeys I have. It was for someone specific, but I figured I could post it here in case it’s helpful.
(The one cut off on the very left was a skull shores duplicate, so I cropped her out)
Noticed that her blue skin color varies a bit too. The older Skull Shores version is a much lighter blue.
I tried to get some more comparison shots between the Delf Art Perennis Lishe and Nemain - neither are very good, mostly because I couldn't get Nemain's head to hold the position I wanted!

If I have funds for another day out I'd go and comb MPG's hair thoroughly. I'm aching to do that!
Comparison of an older style Crayola box to that of a newer one minus the "Made with Solar Power/Preferred by Teachers" banner that was added for Back-to-School time.
Obvious difference between these two being the size of the boxes, since one is for 64 crayons and the other for 24, and the logo, which has been updated for the newer one.
While the colors may have been shifted around a bit, they both use the same general color scheme of red, green, and yellow/gold. They both feature a crayons on the front, also.

Comparison of the different sized blimps used by the Navy. This "chart" was on the wall inside the museum and as tall as the side building wall. You can see the K-class ships down near the middle which were housed in this hanger and Hanger A. The USS Akron and Hindenburg sized blimps were housed at Lakehurst in New Jersey where Steven had Optical Landing System (OLS) Tech classes.

The cab driver in his Hansom Cab (an elegant vehicle deisgned by Joseph Hansom) compares the public vehicle (or omnibus) to Noah's Ark (which was full of animals).

Mary Ellen wears Grace's old bonnet. The girls are the same age in this photo -- and you can tell how large Mary Ellen's head is in comparison!
The photo shows my parents with Grace in June 2005, when she was 8 months old. Gracie saw this photo and said, "There's my precious jewel!" That's what my mom calls Grace, so that's what Gracie calls her!
My solution to Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG Macro whitewash issue =) with a modified Nikon HB-29 lens hood purchased from Ebay. Side to side comparison shows that colour on the right image is more vibrant and less whitewash issue.
