Friend of mine told me that my photos changed a lot though years, so I take some pic of similar pose to compare.

I did improved my skills right? ^^

Same doll, wig, background, camera, only with different lens, eyes, shirt and doll body.

I know there are already countless comparison shots, but there aren't very many Modulex->System MOC duplications. I realized I could actually come pretty close, so why not?

The colors aren't perfect, of course; mx olive green is somewhere between Lego's olive green and sand green, and there's no good match for mx brown. Modulex colors are just more muted in general. The castle would probably have been better in old light gray, but I couldn't find my 1x1 tiles in that color.

As an aside, does anyone have a Scala doll (preferably male) with long sleeves that I can borrow/trade for?

Pretty obvious why MRB does NOT belong to the pink club. Not that I love her any less! :)

Comparison of my Leopard and Chieftain MBTs with their real-life comparison.

The Chieftain is spot on, but the Leopard's turret is a bit off.

These two similar species occur side by side in páramo in high Andes. The best way to identify them is by the shape of their bills.

Chestnut-winged Cinclodes was formerly called Bar-winged Cinclodes (Cinclodes fuscus).

They're standing directly next to each other so you can see how the Christo head is way smaller. But much more detailed.

I did my best to make this build a 1:1 replica of a 1/144 Gundam model. I had to go a little bigger for detail's sake, but it's still only 6.5" (16.5cm) tall.

“FADED PLACES” is a 20"x28" digital daytime long exposure taken on February 21, 2019. This photo captured the blurred movement of the affluent hustle and bustle of Whistler, British Columbia in February 2019, just three hours north of Vancouver’s impoverished Downtown East side.

This photo was originally designed to be displayed alongside this photo:

A comparison between the 2 versions of Tre I currently have.

It's time to talk about my R1, well he is now lying on the floor treated like a football as I kick it quite regularly while I'm in love with my new D700.

No, that's not true. I still love it, very good lens quality and nice range of focal length ( 24-120 ), and the best thing I can't resisit is I can shoot long exposure quick and faster then D700: just attach to my tripod, get my remote ready and shoot, because it's a Digital Compact ( well, big compact ), surely live vew function is far more better then DSLR.

Like this shot in Lake Wakatipu, I can finish my shooting in 30 sec before the sunlight getting stronger and then continue on my journey to Glenorchy.

D700 is a good camera ( and expensive) , 24-70 is a good len ( yeah expensive too ), but both of them are heavy like dumbbells, and my ND64 is too dark to view the composition too ( my fault, should get ND8 instead ), and I just can't stand those dusts in my CCD!

So, at this raining day, the only thing I can do at home is writing these complains, oh, sorry, should be comparison...

A side-by-side comparison of the standard Lego set (#10266) versus my rebuilt version in classic space colours. You will note the new version includes a lot of mods to get the lander to look more like the real-world NASA Lunar Lander - I explain this in the showcase video for this model that you can watch here: youtu.be/r6NkjcGDEs4

...best viewed large.

Good morning and Happy Dragonfly Thursday. Today's featured dragonfly is the female Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis), along with the male of which I included a photo in the comment section with another female for comparison purposes.

The female (and immature males) are mostly brown in color, with a double row of yellowish lines down the dorsal surface of the abdomen. There are also yellowish markings down each side of the abdomen as viewed laterally. Eyes of the females are green to brown, and as with the males, the face is white.

I hope you enjoy this short series on this very common North American dragonfly and find the commentary in the comment section informative.

Thank you for stopping by...and I hope you have a truly great day.

Here's a side by side comparison: an official Hello Kitty illustration on the right and my LEGO Hello Kitty MOC on the left.

I wanted to create a 3D Hello Kitty that captures all the features of her flat cartoon version. She comes with a little bird friend and a designer purse that matches her stylish dress! Her head is able to rotate.

Can you guess how I attached her ribbon?

Size comparison and colour comparison of my dolls, lots hybrids.

I finally got around to editing these pictures and uploading this comparison. One of them is the official set from Lego and the other is the one I built back in August using rebelbuilder 's tutorial. It's fun to see all the differences. :)

Just arrived! Here comparison with Mood Changers and Out of This World.

Jennifer did this comparison picture of her in 'the dress' and of me on my try out day. I've been meaning to put it on here for a while, better late than never I guess.

Here's a comparison picture between my mini brick figure and a Lego minifigure. It's more obvious like that, no?
