Comparison of my Leopard and Chieftain MBTs with their real-life comparison.
The Chieftain is spot on, but the Leopard's turret is a bit off.
Quick comparison pic :)
I haven't included my tiny tinies, - the shot was getting too hard!

Taken at Polperro. This is a cliff top path that leads down to the shoreline and the old net shed. Not sure what the platform in the water is and not sure whether it adds or detracts from the composition, going to see if i can get a shot without it for comparison.
I did my best to make this build a 1:1 replica of a 1/144 Gundam model. I had to go a little bigger for detail's sake, but it's still only 6.5" (16.5cm) tall.

“FADED PLACES” is a 20"x28" digital daytime long exposure taken on February 21, 2019. This photo captured the blurred movement of the affluent hustle and bustle of Whistler, British Columbia in February 2019, just three hours north of Vancouver’s impoverished Downtown East side.

For Comparison Sake an Iple FID girl next to my 16" Tonner. I had several people ask how much bigger are the FID's...........a picture paints a thousand words, so they say.
It's time to talk about my R1, well he is now lying on the floor treated like a football as I kick it quite regularly while I'm in love with my new D700.
No, that's not true. I still love it, very good lens quality and nice range of focal length ( 24-120 ), and the best thing I can't resisit is I can shoot long exposure quick and faster then D700: just attach to my tripod, get my remote ready and shoot, because it's a Digital Compact ( well, big compact ), surely live vew function is far more better then DSLR.
Like this shot in Lake Wakatipu, I can finish my shooting in 30 sec before the sunlight getting stronger and then continue on my journey to Glenorchy.
D700 is a good camera ( and expensive) , 24-70 is a good len ( yeah expensive too ), but both of them are heavy like dumbbells, and my ND64 is too dark to view the composition too ( my fault, should get ND8 instead ), and I just can't stand those dusts in my CCD!
So, at this raining day, the only thing I can do at home is writing these complains, oh, sorry, should be comparison...
I like comparison shots, so here is one of FN-2199, aka TR-8R in his iconic scene. See the original here: www.flickr.com/photos/wesvdell/24259482875/in/dateposted-...
Sadly Lego messed up big time on this in my opinion. I hope they come out with a minifigure scale tardis set in the future.

Size comparison with my Panzer Tracts 9-3 (Jagdpanther) book, by Jentz and Doyle.
This drawing is 1/35, and my Jagdpanther in comparison is now only about a quarter of an inch taller, whereas it was over half an inch taller.

Renderings have always been a missing tool in my LEGO toolbox. I know how to do them - in theory. In practice I don't know how to do them well.
So running across this LDraw to Blender plugin by Toby Nelson was a real treat. Does everyone know about it? It took a bit of digging for me to find it. Aside from being quite fast and accurate, it has two modes: realistic and instruction. My quick test above takes a basic construction with a few different colors and materials and tests them both. I really like the result. Useful tool.
This is a comparison of hardware buttons on many popular Android devices. I know this isn't all of them but I think it's filled out enough.
I find it interesting that series of devices (e.g. Droid Series) don't match. Also, there is no consistency in regards to icon design on each device.
UPDATE: The Bergol says I have used the incorrect Droid 2 in this list. Instead of matching the Droid, it matches the Droid Pro. I apologize for my mistake.
UPDATE 2: Thanks for all the views. This was originally pointed out by Ben but John Gruber from Daring Fireball was my source. Engadget has created a better version here. I meant no disrespect to the Android community but feel that muscle memory can cause a frustrating experience when changing devices.
Skin Comparison.
I have and always be a Pink Fuel Skin lover. The right hand side is my old/usual skin.
However; I have taken to this new skin on the left by Deetalez. Any thoughts on your fave?
This is the out of camera shot which came out fine, but in my opinion needed more contrasts and a bit of straightening. Thank you for your comments, support, and death threats! 8)
