As mentioned in the previous photo, the not-quite-triangular shape of the cheese slopes causes some weird geometry. To me, the hexagon on the right seems to be more balanced, with each color being the same size, but really it is the one on the left that has each section equal in size.
In the left hexagon, each section has 12 slopes. In the right hexagon, the blue section has 12 slopes while the orange and green sections have 8 slopes each.
Anyway, I just find it a bit intriguing.
Here’s some comparison photos of the new Curvy MTM body next to some other dolls. She’s shorter than the Collectors Curvy body and is closer to the Fashionista Curvy but her limbs are slightly thicker.
She has almost the same poseability as an Original MTM body but due to her thicker body type it ALMOST does the same things anyway. Her ankles are as floppy as original MTM so bleh.
Surprisingly her wrists are compatible with Original MTM, which means it’s compatible with older jointed Barbie dolls with vinyl arms AND DC Super Hero Girl hands.
Her ankles though are completely different so if you were hoping to give her smaller feet you’ll need to mod the doll a lot.
Her skin tone is ALMOST Tropic Tan/Nikki but it’s slightly too pink and light. Still darker than other Caucasian skin tones though.

Making a reference photo because I have some fairly unpopular dolls. These kind of pictures are always helpful to me because I like making hyrbids, so hopefully this will help someone!

This time I dressed the AT027 (on the right) in the a Superman suit from Hot Toys Batman vs Superman and compared him to the original! He's taller but not as muscular! This body is closer to the Man Of Steel figure that Hot Toys released a few years ago!

Cleverly, Nottingham City Transport E400 City 433 had been parked alongside Nottingham Heritage Vehicles Leyland Atlantean 433 at Autokarna 2018. This provided the perfect opportunity to compare the two.
Both seem to have a frown.
I haven't done a comparison shot for a long time, but I happened to get an extra Ketar so I thought I'd show you the massive difference. I didn't even notice until later that I happened to replace all the dark orange spots with more brown.

This is basically the same shot I posted before taken with various cameras and lenses. I used AF on the Q3 so the focal point is different, but I wanted to see how the gray tones compared.

I will also add that the resin is a new shade called real skin which is cooler in shade a feels more matt.
Icarusia and Lady F pose to demenstrate the subtle changes to the new Ficon Body. I am sure you will agree that the changes add definition and some increased posability to what was already a fantastic doll body.
Nat asked me about Canary's torso compared to a playline torso, so I did a quick comparison pic.
Canary's bust is slightly bigger than the playlines/ Model Muse dolls, so that can share bottoms, but when it comes to tops, the velcro may not fully fasten. It's even one of the reasons the doll was so controversial.
P.S., the other doll is High School Musical School Spirit Sharpay on a Fashion Fever Articulates body.

This picture was kind of inevitable. After the first render of the CF-18 and Ralph's line-overlay, I went ahead and did a quick stud-count of the length and while proportionally correct, the C-Hornet was too large for the 1/38 scale I built it at. I've fixed that since, but while that original airframe was too large for the first Hornet, guess which size it fit almost perfectly...

I bought Hayul thinking Mir's head would be too small for Irin (well and of course that was a welcome excuse for getting Hayul as I didn't want to get more dolls... xD). But Irin's and Mir's heads are almost the same size (skull-wise at least).
Now I'm not sure which girl looks better with him. D:
When comparing profiles Irin looks definitely more proportional (Hayul's nose is bigger/more realistic) to Mir but from the front her face looks bigger. Also, Irins's and Mir's face to skull proportions (is that a thing?) are more similar compared to Hayul's.
What do you guys think? Which girl looks better with Mir? o:

Also, I decided to get another body because poor, bodyless Irin makes me sad and I don't want to get rid of her. That body might be taller than the LM one. And depending on which girl looks better with my Mir the other one will get the taller body as I don't want the girl to be taller than the boy (damn you stupid, ingrained, socially consructed preferences for height difference between genders *shakes fist*).
Well and then I have to find a body too. I guess I could get another LM body. But I like variety. The other body that might work is from Aquarius Doll (I want double-jointed knees). But that neck. .__. So thick, long and... squarish. I'm really not very keen on sanding stuff down. Maybe it'll look better with a bigger head on?
Ah first world problems... orz

Someone asked for a comparison to Dollzone White. My DZ boys are both pretty old but it still works
I know Resinsoul and Bobobie are the same company, but it was more to show how the WS matures - the RS is from July 2011 while the Bobobie is at least 2 years older.
Sometimes it's fun to observe the differences between the makeup and dress of when one is a maiko versus geiko.

Just a shot of the two together for comparison. I really wish 1x1 tiles came in dark tan, I could have made the first floor facade a bit more accurate. Also, telescopes in white would have been perfect for the belfry.

I do like this dress it felt great walking around in the sunshine before heading to a friends for dinner.
type 01 told me that the new Disney Princess sit with wide spread legs, not so princess like, LOL, He was right! I made this comaprison for him :D
Gothel (on the left) has the old princess kind of body with bendable legs, Ariel (on the right) has the new body with jointed knees. :D
