SE AGRADECE A FLICKR POR EXPLORE....MUCHAS GRACIAS ;)
After we photographed the Burrowing Owl the other day, we turned to put our gear in the car. A Turkey Vulture was flying in towards us and then landed in the middle of the road...right in front of the owl. It looked at us and slowly walked towards the owl's burrow. What the heck?! It approached the owl slowly and walked behind the burrow.
We were just in awe of watching this interaction. The owl didn't appear to be stressed, it seemed to just watch the vulture approach. I wondered if the vulture was looking for remnants of the owl's previous meal. I somehow just got the feeling this wasn't the first time for this behavior. It was so incredible to watch. The vulture finally spread its wings and flew over the fence and landed just on the other side. WOW. Nature is just so grand!!
comparing mobile phone auto night shot (6 sec. long expos. ) and Dslr manual (4 sec. L. expos. ),(both hand held no tripod) problem with DSLR, things look much brighter on its compact screen till you enlarge ( deceiving)
strangely wiith the phone camera, a speed boat passed while taking the shot but still captured no movement ,
both no edit
Lambert’s Point, Virginia, became the primary home of Norfolk & Western’s nine ex-Nickel Plate RSD 12’s after they were withdrawn from road service. In addition to the nine Alco’s, NKP also added eighteen SD9’s to its roster in 1957. The head-to-head comparison was still going strong twenty-five years later, as two of the EMD’s can be seen in the extreme left distance.
Here we have the transom of Kaiwo Maku, one of the largest tall ships in the world (361' in length) and passing her on her starboard side is a 18-20' pleasure craft.
Verdict....... absolutely no comparison :-)

Macro capture of a Shiny Object .
A quick caveat - while the Spitfire gets all the glory , we must not forget the under rated Hawker Hurricane which was so successful during the Battle of Britain !!
So to start with a random shot of the sky before it went all to cloud and then to the pop up oven top kitchen studio with a new keyring I have been given ( could have done for "new " last week , so glad I saved it ) . The keyring was bought from the RAF Hendon Museum online store and it is of a Spitfire . The capture of the little Spitfire was done with the Sigma 105 , and for a size comparison see the first comment box -knowing how the 105 makes avery short DOF when up close , Ihad to stop down a fair old way to keep the aeroplane in a sharp view .
I took 8 or 9 shots paying special attention to angles to create a realistic air to air style of capture. Next I put them though the cut out studio in Serif CraftArist - good job I had a selection as the cut out could not define the outline of the aircraft very well in most of them and kept taking chunks out of the plane - sorted with this one and put the two shots together for the flight of the silver spitfire . this now captures the the feeling of being up there and the sky is the limit and you are free as a bird - the pilots of the day often say " You do not get into a Spitfire , you just strap it on !! "
And the Silver Spitfire in 2019 is a story on it's own , please check out the story in the link ---------------

And in this vein of up there in the skies with the Merlin singing it's song , this tune should should be heard on the airwaves !!
Snow and Ross Geese side by side for comparison. I've been trying to get a shot like this for years.
Well here is the comparison of the photo of RL and my new pose. Hope you like! I tried to do my best. Adriana, thank you for your patience and cooperation... loviu <3
Here you can see the colouring and bill differences between an immature male and an older male Surf Scoter.
The Eden Project in Cornwall, England....Not a secret bunker where aliens are or out of this world experiments take place..... LOL
Here is the website of the The Eden Project. The place is well worth a visit. The Biodome you see here houses all sorts of tropical plants and the temperature in there is very hot. My lense steamed up as soon as I got in there. The other biodome (which is not pictured here but looks exactly the same), has a more mediterranean feeling to it.
White tailed eagle in company off some hooded crows. Now you can see the difference in size, birdwise. But also that the crows are not scared of this mighty eagle who I thought was king :-) and in this picture you can see his white tail..

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them, however! Thanks again!!
3 coats of each, but the OPI is the only one that needed it imo.

Dear all, I will find a moment during the day to visit your photo stream, enjoy the day!
I have never done this before, but I had to put these two pictures together so that you can compare the differences. I used the identical prompt in MidJourney and DDT2D and this is the result. Basically I asked for a woman who was not feeling well, sitting in her bed and working on her laptop. I also wanted it in the style of Norman Rockwell. I did MJ first and was disappointed, and then I tried DDT2D and was blown away!
Don't get me wrong, I have had some incredible MJ results, but in this case, DD walks away with the honours!!
All comparisons seem to be questionable. However, and very broadly speaking, I do not think that the Fuji X-Pro3 (the camera I used for the other image) makes better photography than the old X-Pro1 (this image). It really is the photographer who makes all the difference.
Not a great photo but it was almost dark and sometimes you have to use what you got.
The white-throated weighs in at approximately .7 to 1.3 ounces and is about 15 to 19 centimetres (5.9 to 7.5 inches) in length.
The blue-winged warbler weighs around 0.3 ounce and is in the 11-12 cm (4.3 to 4.7 inch) in length.

I plan few heads from few companies and plan to match with diferent bodies.
I have found, that looking at pages each time I think of some match, is very time-consuming.
So I have chosen my fav doll companies and made this pic.
Pictures are not in scale, so some of bodies are biger than others, it was mostly done for a shapes, propotions, hips, chests etc.
But all bodies are over 61 cm.
