Leica Summilux f/5.6
These three shot (entitled "Lens Comparison") compare a Leica D Summilux 25mm f/1.4, a Konica Hexanon AR 50mm f/1.4 and a Lumix G Vario f/3.5 14-45mm. The pictures have been cropped to be about the same size
fuji x10 ; fuji x-pro1 ; nikon D700
the fuji x-pro1 - feels pretty much the same size and weight (if I remember correctly) of an Leica M6 (but the lenses are lighter than Leica's )
taken with my nex5n+voigtlander notkon 35 (even smaller than the x10 :)
A comparison of sympatric glass lizards from the Apalachicola National Forest, FL. Mimic Glass Lizards (bottom) can be differentiated from Slender Glass Lizards (top) by the lack of distinct stripes below the lateral fold and a lack of distinct lorilabial scales between the eye and supralabial scales. Mimic Glass Lizards are also much smaller as adults and prefer lower, wetter habitats than Slender Glass Lizards.
This is really just for friend, but if you'd like to see, here you go. ^^;;
ETA: Dammit, it's so blurry asikfjsfd
Here is another comparison of LEGO ships, this time with the Lord of the Rings Corsair and Friends Elves boat added.
Calling my rescale of the 60183 Heavy Cargo Transport done.
The truck itself is based on a Scania 8x4 chassis with my standard detailing across the model, plus some added detail behind the cab for the fuel and compressed air tanks, and exhaust. The truck can either carry a chain box for heavy haulage specific equipment on the fifth wheel or alternatively any of my previous trailers can attach there.
The dolly is an improvement on an old table scrap design that I'd never had a good use for. It has a decent connection point where it hitches to the truck, however this does tend to pop out after repeated hard turns. And again, the fifth wheel works with any of my trailers.
The trailer is a "simple" design based on a detachable gooseneck system, which I guess is what the original set was aiming for. The deck area of the trailer is 6x12 studs but can be extended out up to 8x19. The oversize load flags on the rear of the trailer can also be extended outwards to reflect the width of the trailer and load. While it's not the strongest build I've put together, but I'm more than happy with this just being a display model.
The helicopter was just an older build that I had handy but it does fit with the original set. This is based on a Eurocopter AS350 Squirrel in NSW Rural Fire Service livery.
Comments, criticism and questions are welcome, and keep an eye out for more.

This time I dressed the AT027 (on the right) in the a Superman suit from Hot Toys Batman vs Superman and compared him to the original! He's taller but not as muscular! This body is closer to the Man Of Steel figure that Hot Toys released a few years ago!
So far this is the most obvious difference between with and without the attachment. I’m still deciding which I like better out of each set though.
I’m someone who did most of their photography teetering on base level kinesthetic and intuitive learning or pure luck. In the last few years I’ve been wanting to not just happen into a nice photo, but to also be able to build/create/plan a nice photo.
I’m trying to spend these upcoming colder months really building my knowledge and skill set. I want to put more effort into getting more creative and intentional with my photos. In the same way I like to plan eccentric style looks with clothing or accessories I make; I want to be able to create a make up look, make unique clothing, make jewelry, and an interesting surrounding set/location and then light the whole thing the way I want.
I know this sounds so simple or obvious, but for me it felt pretty important to realize that I could just make weird images or videos to express myself creatively. When your brain reminds you that you can just make art. AMAZING. Ha!
That being said, these sets of photos were all taken with my Nikon D3200 with an 18-55mm lens. One in each pair has been taken with an Altura Photo wide angle lens. A tool I bought but had no idea how to use or what it was for. I am trying to decide in these quick/imprecise comparisons, which I actually like better.
I may try to repeat this with more precision next time by using a tripod and as alike framing as I can manage.
I don’t foresee myself become gear obsessed but I do want to learn more so I can feel more confident in international experimentation.
So I sometimes will reshoot the same thing on a different film to make a real world comparison. The time of day was the same. The light was the same. Just different film.
Two conclusions:
1) My composition was better the other day.
2) I don't really like this film.
A great comparison of two types of Lothian Buses fleet here, on the left a 13 year old Dennis Trident and to the right a brand new Wright Streetair Electric.

So I decided to do a little comparison between the different minifee bodies before I sand the shoulders on my motion line to be more rounded. I hope this helps you guys to have a better chance of deciding which bodies to get if you are new to minifees or may need to add some more to your crew in the future :)
The busts the girls are wearing are Cutie bust, Large bust and Full bust x2. I do have Small bust and Glamour as well as the fairyline boy bust too but I didn't think they were important for the general body overview. This is also not a pose off, just an overall look ^^
Left to right: minifee a-line boy muscle, minifee a-line boy no muscle, minifee motion line boy, minifee moe line boy, minifee fairyline girl, minifee new a-line girl cutie legs, minifee old a-line girl model legs, minifee moe line girl.
I decided to shoot a comparison:D
I haven't seen much of owner pic of Herculean body,If anyone have a picture please share;_;

My friend Babychan asked me to take a pic of my Zarah with Eric to see if they are a good match. I'd say yes XD
L to R, Rosie on pale Phicen with M bust, Lulu on MTM Barbie body, and Phicen doll body with L bust with Phicen head,
A size comparison. Compared with my other creation, temporarily named "Ana". I did polish her up as well, taking from the advice from L.A. Miranda, 0nuku, and Coconut fella into consideration. (Thanks.)
I have three lenses that are prime lenses and fall within a close range in terms of mm. In no particular order they are the Lensbaby Twist 60, the TAMRON | SP 45mm F/1.8 Di VC USD and the Helios 44-2 2/58mm.
I was curious to compare their features and I came up with the idea of shooting exactly the same scene with each lens with their apertures as wide open as they could go.
The Twist 60 and the Helios are only 2mm apart yet the exposures were visibly of different sizes. The Tamron at 45mm was considerably smaller. I shot the photos from a tripod and changed lenses without disturbing the camera's position. I used Photoshop to align the images which also resized them to the same scale.
No sharpening or contrast adjustments for any of the images. I tried to even out exposures since they all had different widest aperture capabilities by adjusting shutter speeds for each picture.
The Helios by my eye has a delicate, pale look. Not sharp, but creamy in an appealing way. The Twist 60 captured warmer tones with slightly stronger contrast. The Tamron captured the deepest contrast, warm tones. Each lens rendered bokeh in very different and distinctive ways.
I like each of the lenses for their different qualities. The Helios was the least expensive lens--about $50 with a Canon adaptor and shipping.
That's the beauty of a DSLR, the incredible lenses you can put on it. I even had an adaptor for a pin hole lens.
A reference pic for 3 different types of minguns on the market.
Sadly I do not have Minifig.Cat's amazing minigun...but I will have one shortly!
If you want to see a comparison of Minifig.Cat's and Brickarms click this
From left to right:
eclipseGrafx (The Clone Factory): Good solid minigun that I picked up at Brick Magic. Love the swiveling foregrip. Nice length. However, the tip is slightly jacked...but other than that it is a great gun.
Pedro (Amazing Armory): Brilliant design. Love the detail and awesome chassis! Slightly smaller for closer combat. Nice solid detail all around.
Brickarms: Amazing minigun! Love the design and the length. The detail is excellent. Perfect for almost any fig.
Altogether...I love Pedro's for the design; eclipseGrafx for the fit; and Brickarms for the versatility.
That comparison starts with big endless ocean. Then comes the ship. Lastly, two small boats follow the ship.

So, a while ago, Johnathon commented asking about Prin (the one on the right) and her eyechips. (I realized the other day I never answer about that! I apologize. I hadn't looked at their eyechips enough to answer, as silly as that sounds. So sorry about that.)
I tried to take a photo to compare their eyechips but I think the flash made it weird.
Lorelei is on the left. She is a factory produced doll. The unnamed girl in the middle is one of the Kenner quints from Cincinnati. She and Prin, on the right, share some prototype qualities. I think Cincinnati girl was sort of in between. Not quite like the other dolls I have but not as different as Prin.
Yes. I do over analyze all my dolls and that's fun for me.
More comparisons between my X-Wing MOC and the Red 5 hero miniature. I struggled to match the perspectives of these photos.
