Contrast: jeans and sneakers next to a slipper and tights worn by an actor performing in the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero in San Francisco.
In a frame from the Weigmans film, Doorman is in a different pose in the center of the doorway. There is a dark shadow cutting off his right side of body and in between him and the Black man against the wall, there is a shadowy figure.

An interesting comparison of rear ends and green liveries in this rear view of former Aldershot & District Dennis Lancet single-decker alongside former London Transport AEC Regal IV single-decker RF 600 in the western grounds of Guildford Cathedral, with these two vehicles being a common sight in Guildford back in the 1950s as back then Guildford was served by the London Transport Country Area (running their bus services into the town from the north and east) while Aldershot & District ran their bus services into Guildford from the south and west. Following the formation of the National Bus Company (NBC) in 1969, from 1st January 1970 the LT Country Area became a new bus company called London Country, whilst in 1972 Aldershot & District merged with neighbouring Thames Valley to become Alder Valley.

This is a comparison between my two lenses, both at full aperture. The difference is evident if you look in large size.
However the rendition of the cheaper lens (CCTV) is very nice for its shallow depth of field, the softer definition and the losing of details off of center.
I use it as an "effects lens".

Lens comparison test, maximum aperture. After comparing the two wide-angle test shots, while much closer matched in quality of sharpness than at 70mm, the L-series beats the EF. Open another window and view them at original size (via "all sizes" button) side-by side.
I decided to take some photos of the loose dolls I own (minus CAMs, customs and the box of extras waiting to be dressed and/or customized)
Gil and Nefera are the singles in the family, hence their odd pairing in this photo. (Nefera seems to be enjoying herself, Gil doesn't look exactly thrilled, haha)

A comparison of different aperture settings for macro work. As the f stop value increases (smaller aperture) tou get more DOF but eventually run into diffraction problems leading to a loss of detail.
Comparison of the Fields of View between a 17mm lens on a Canon 7D and a 24mm lens on a Canon 5DmkII. The 7D has a 1.6x crop factor which causes the 17mm lens to have the FOV of a 27mm lens on a Full Frame camera. The 5DmkII has a Full Frame sensor.
I just love how these 2 look together, eee!
In addition to the different bust sizes, B-03 is also thinner through the hips and has a smaller pelvis.
Had to see if my fav TBL body (S07C) could rock the same jeans as Erica. Answer: Yes, yes it can. Though Erica's was much easier to put on thanks to not being a seamless body and being smooth plastic.
This is a comparison of my old and new Photoshop workflows. See full-size for best comparison. The original photo-which sucks--is on top. The middle one was accomplished with my normal photoshop workflow, which is an improvement, but the colors are horrible. The bottom one was created using Dan Margulis's "Picture Postcard" workflow, which is dramatically better than either of the others.
The new workflow involves 3 stages. Simplified, they are:
1. removing minor color casts in RGB mode without regard for contrast
2. boosting the contrast without regard for color
3. combining the color from step 1 and the contrast from step 2 in Lab mode while also boosting overall color.
Today is the first day I've been trying this new workflow, and I did this one rather quickly, so I don't contend that I've created a perfect image. But it's so much better than the way it would have otherwise ended up that clearly, I will be changing the way I fix pictures in Photoshop from now on.
Almost exactly the same as it was in 1971. Corner building was clothes store than, now it's cáfe. Parents used to buy me clothes there.
