For comparison to the final product, this image is a single frame from the .SER file that was stacked, sharpend and further processed to become The Moon - 2021-11-17 02:32, which was uploaded on November 17, 2021.
Here’s a comparison of the Nikon 8-15 zoom at 12mm with the Rokinon 12mm. Both lenses were set to f/8. I chose an indoor view to illustrate the curvature effect and to show how Adobe Camera Raw can correct for some of this, while causing other distortions.
First, you can see that the Rokinon fills the frame, while the Nikon doesn’t reach the corners. But the Nikon has a wider field of view than the Rokinon. You can see this by comparing the edges. Horizontally, the Nikon retains its 180 degree fov.
Notice that, although straight lines appear curved, circles still appear normal (see track lights, wall art). And although ACR (bottom images) can correct for straight-line curvature, it changes circles into ovals and creates other distortions. With 100 percent correction, the chairs in foreground become chaise lounges. So you can pick your distortion, but you can’t eliminate all of it.
Landscapes, which don’t contain many straight lines, are more forgiving to fisheye curvature. Even when you notice the effect, if used properly it can reinforce the impact of an image. And it’s possible to make less drastic corrections in ACR or in Photoshop with the warp editing tool.
Both lenses, by the way, are very sharp, even wide open. And the Rokinon, at f/2.8, beats the Nikon, which is f/3.5-4.5, at gathering the light.

I finally got these pics taken and photoshopped them a bit. Sorry for the bad lighting and weird poses, Deven didn't really appreciate switching bodies. :'D
So this is a small comparison of how the DollClans Kien head looks on three different bodies. From the right: Granado 64cm, normal yellow; Crobidoll R-line (66cm), normal skin; Distant Memory (65cm), normal skin. Unfortunately this doesn't show the height differences, but if someone wishes to see that, I can take more pics. :3
The Granado body is somewhat darker than the head, but goes nicely with the head otherwise and a bit of extra blush hides the colour difference. The Crobi is sort of ok and the Distant Memory doesn't match at all, plus the neck looks far too long. :P
Basically I think any of these bodies could probably be modified to look good with the head, but the Granado body is pretty much the only one that matches both colour wise and proportionally.
Oh, and I had also thought of trying the head on a Crobidoll B-line body, but the neck is too thick. :< Could probably be modded to fit, but I think the head would look too tiny in that body.

The Lions Gate Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in Vancouver. It is also one of the major bridges that is heavily used everyday. In comparison to many bridges in Vancouver, it is probably the prettiest with all these lights at night.
When I finished taking photos on Cypress Mountain, I decided to make a stop near the Lions Gate Bridge and get a closer look. Damn! it is very pretty...this shot is edited through Capture One Pro 12. I think one of the advantages with Capture One is that you can pull a little bit more details...which is good for Fujifilm RAW files :)

Two faceplates for the same headback, the white one is still in progress. These faces are almost opposites^^

Since I can't decide: which version do you prefer?
I tried to make the U-Wing a bit thinner, hoping that it would make the smaller engines look more accurate compared to the rest of the body. The lower cabin was no problem at all, since I already designed a smaller version of that for the 1.0-version.
The cockpit section however is much more difficult, since it has to inhabit the hinges that angle the side panels.
I came up with the design shown in the image, which does make the whole model more sleek, at the cost of a lot of stability (the 1x2 and 1x4 panel pieces are all just held together with single studs of a few brackets!). It also introduces a few new gaps, and it leaves no space for the wedge-details that I so badly wanted to implement (even though they stand out too much).
It also makes the sides of the cockpit much bulkier and more round than they should be, resulting in a sleeker but more inaccurate look of that section. But the alternative would be to leave giant gaps between the Cockpit and the angled panels (showing the hinges I used to angle cockpit and side panels), which I personally dislike even more
Another (minor) Problem with the small engines is the fact that the round 2x2 plate isn't availabe in dark blue, but that's the least of my worries...
I know I've seen comparison shots of the first brides somewhere on flickr, but I was still very curious about my own, new bride now. Is her body even completely the same as the first brides?
She's got DG-legs, but she's still as tall as the Nu Face dolls, because her torso is longer. And, well, her boobs - but I am sure that's obvious in the pictures... ;)
She also seems lighter than the other dolls. So maybe she doesn't have that nut inside?
Comparison. Note the changes in the neck, head, and shoulders

Record from 1876-77 states: Withington Herefordshire is a parish and village with a railway station [opened in 1861] on the Worcester and Hereford branch of the Great Western railway, distant 4½ miles N.E. of Hereford, 11 S.W. of Bromyard, 12 W.N.W. of Ledbury, 11 S.S.E. of Leominster, and 30 N.W. of Gloucester. The Hereford and Bromyard road, and the Hereford and Gloucester canal, intersect the parish, which is in Broxash hundred, Hereford union, county court district, polling district, and petty sessional division. The population in 1861 was 788; in 1871, 784; inhabited houses, 179; families or separate occupiers, 192;
By 1961 the population was 803
Lugwardine Works [seen in the background of this photo] was located next to the station and up until 1958 there was also a Croft's private siding mainly used for the conveyance of cider
In more recent times there has been a call to build a new station here but no current details have been located - not clear what the justification there would be for this either

A fun but unscientific comparison between cameras and 50mm f/1.2's - I think the differences are mostly from the lens. The Canon RF 50mm 1.2L is sharper wide open than the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.2, shows less CA, and renders the out of focus area a bit softer. Canon's offering is also more than 2x the price of the Voigtlander (Cosina) and comically larger.
The straight out of camera colors are (subjectively) more pleasing with the Leica, though both of these images were edited in Lr to look as similar as possible.

Need to take one with the girls dressed in knickers only ~ a photo that would show off the comparison much better :)

It is interesting, I think that Aubrey and Ebony has similar color but different lightness. While Saffy has a little more pink toned skin.
The extra yellowness of Ebony here is because of bad lights.
Miliput is a lovely two part epoxy putty that cures rock hard without heat. I buy my colored ones at Ancestral Dawn on Ebay and my green grey at the local hobby shop. Miliput is very heavy so there's no point shipping what you can get locally but it's cheaper to order the colored stuff from the UK than have the shop order for me. Weird how that works out.
Though Miliput comes in multiple colors, there are only 3 hardener colors and they seem to be interchangable with the different bases.
A. Yellow Grey ( yellow + grey hardener)
Old faithful. This is the cheapest one and the easiest to find. Fine for anything being fully painted.
B. Terracotta ( terracotta + grey hardener)
C. Black (black + grey hardener)
D. White Superfine (white + white hardener)
F. Silver (silver + white hardener)
Very pale grey.
G. Black + white hardener
H. Terracotta + white hardener.
I. I...did not mark this one. Oops. If I remember, I will edit this.
J. Yellow + white hardener
K. (Unmarked) A test to see if two fully mixed colors could also combine. Looks fine to me. (Terracotta + grey hardener) + (white + white hardener) in equal parts.
There is no real point testing blends with grey instead if white because there isn't a huge difference.
I did a quick Bokeh comparison between the cheap Canon 50mm f1.8 stm lens and the amazing Sigma 50-100mm f1.8 Art lens. My conclusion is that I am very happy to see that the pretty expensive Sigma is significantly better in all areas, especially bokeh!
