My beautiful and sexy Mistress Lingerie Clip (aka Lady Ling, aka Lady Clip) poses in a sexy latex Christmas dress.
This strange ornament was in the new Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo. This huge room was full of Poinsettias, which you can see in the reflection. You can also see that several of these long rows of "fused" baubles radiate from a central spot. A peculiar shape, but creates interesting reflections. Hope your Christmas Day is going happily : )
This is what we've got for Christmas so far. There will be a program insert for our own folks, a 'Christmas-card style' invitation for them to give to others, a card to use for random acts of giving during the season, and various on-screen uses. Content for the insert, the back of the card and the inside of the invitation is still being nailed down so that part of the design very unfinished. Looking for feedback on all of it though.
An underlying theme for the Christmas season is different angles on family - our immediate family and close friends, the family of God, those who aren't part of the church family yet, and God as the center of our families. I wanted to include that, but not make it the only focus.
Our congregation is about 1300 on a Sunday. We're a downtown church in a town of about 200K. Wide range of ages.

A fun little Christmas ornament made for me, many years ago, by one of my UBC labmates. It holds a special place in my heart.

We spent Christmas Eve & Christmas Day at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lake George, New York, USA & had many fun experiences--mostly related to people or food. Christmas Eve was very quiet at our hotel, only a few guests. We had a great time getting to know the desk clerk on duty till 11 pm--Becky! She was a lovely young woman, with a personality to match, the same age as my younger son. Perhaps because hotel use was so low that night, when we checked in, she upgraded us from our standard room to the biggest one in the hotel, which included a living area w/ couch & easy chair, a full-sized table w/ two chairs, & a kitchenette, complete with sink, fridge, & microwave! We stayed in comfort, for $98 a night! During the night, on the 24th, we had a light snow--maybe 2 inches of powder. Christmas evening found us in the whirlpool by the indoor pool, chatting with a mom, dad, & 4th grader from NYC. Just outside the window, behind the hotel, someone had built a darling, mini-snowperson approximately 3 feet tall. When we remarked on how cute it was, we learned that it had been built by our spa friends! We photographed it Christmas night. (This was an auto-focus night shot, taken with flash.) Prior to that, I spent much of Christmas Day scanning the Internet for restaurants that were open! Lake George is, primarily, a summer resort town, so many businesses close by October. I was able to find a great Chinese restaurant--Chopsticks, in Queensbury--where we had abundant, well-flavored lunch choices, accompanied by soup, for a total of about $10 for the two of us! I, also, discovered that the Uno Chicago Grill in Queensbury (about 10 minutes from our hotel) would be open till 10 pm! We enjoyed a relaxed dinner there at about 7 pm. Our waiter, Dale, was delightful! I had prime rib; Duane had lobster & shrimp scampi--neither on our vegan diet! After dinner, we drove around the area, taking photos of Christmas lights. Then, we topped off the evening with a large cup of mint hot chocolate, thanks to the 24-hour Cumberland Farms in Warrensburg! It was a low-key, but enjoyable Christmas, 2012! Hope you all had a good day, too! On to New Year's in Mystic, Connecticut in a few days!

This was my sister's and my doll display on the fireplace for Christmas Eve, all lit up by the Christmas tree. It's a mess and strewn about now from the Christmas festivities. 😅

A closer look at the three Christmas stockings that my mother made back in the early 1960's. My mother made one for each of her children & grandchildren. Everyone had their own Christmas stocking. My mother embroidered the name of each person on their stocking. When my mother passed away I inherited my dad's sock, my mother's sock & my sock. I have displayed them every Christmas since I received them.
