Do you struggle for ideas when it comes to Christmas cakes? I made enough snowmen and penguins in my time and I am always looking for inspiration. Where do you get ideas for Christmas cakes?

Our Christmas Tree. There are decorations that go on the tree year after year & some new ones each year.

I never fully appreciate the tree until I spend some time up close and take in the little hidden places between the branches.

Christmas Eve Fireworks are as regular an event as we we can make them. Some years they are more extensive than others, but we generally manage at least a quick round of fire & sparks.

I made so many batches of fudge this christmas! Both original and candy cane flavoured. Eating homemade candy, having mulled wine and wrapping gifts while it snowed outside, I gotta say - christmas was pretty good :)

A simple Christmas tree built for the Eurobricks Raffle.

I like looking at other people's big Christmas trees with over-the-top decorations, but for myself I'd much rather something small and simple.

The finished Mini quilt for Dan's Grandmother, she used to breed mini longhaired dachshunds professionally so it was perfect for her. She loved it which makes me super happy. It measures 18x18 and was machine paper pieced.

Christmas quilt sewn up using Lori Holt's Cozy Christmas line, plus a few other christmas fabrics thrown in. I cut strips 2" wide to form the triangles for the hexagons. This turned out great, I'm so excited to have it done before Christmas!

Thank so much Nicole! Love it.

Christmas (Old English: Crīstesmæsse, meaning "Christ's Mass") is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ[6][7] and a widely observed cultural holiday, celebrated generally on December 25[3][4][5] by billions[citation needed] of people around the world.[2][8] A feast central to the Christian liturgical year, it closes the Advent season and initiates the twelve days of Christmastide, which ends after the twelfth night.[9] Christmas is a civil holiday in many of the world's nations,[10][11][12] is celebrated by an increasing number of non-Christians,[1][13][14] and is an integral part of the Christmas and holiday season.
