Christmas has come and gone, I always look at how my holidays where back when I was younger and the sacrifices my parents made for myself and my siblings, both my parents are gone now but sometimes the reflections of Christmas past make me smile.

I'll never forget my first visit to a Second Life Christmas Tree Farm, last year. It was magical. Being here in beautiful Crisp Kringle@Frogmore, reminded me of that time.

In my humble opinion Shrewsbury invests well in making the town look festive with a great display of lights running through the town. This is in the Market Square.

This abandoned interurban station gets turned into this wonderful Christmas display, normally it just sits there but once a year they change it over to this beautiful holiday presentation.

Otis and Fleur are getting ready for Christmas. It looks to me like Fleur is doing all the work decorating the tree, but perhaps Otis has some computer work he has to catch up on, or maybe he's just playing solitaire. Hmmm, I wonder what the story really is here?

Many of the residents in the Village of Haughton in Staffordshire partake in this exceptional charity event by lighting up their homes to raise funds each year. 2021 saw the return of the event following a missed year in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
I love and appreciate my Flickr Friends ~have an awesome Christmas and may 2009 be a year of dreams fulfilled
