Winter is changing slowly to Spring.
Pink camelia, and
rhododendron buds
coming through.
Also the bareness of the tree branches.
The calendar says it is spring, but winter remains, an unwanted guest. The bare tulip trees make it possible to see the Esther T. Mertz Library at the New York Botanical Garden. This group of tulip trees are all descendants of the same tree and form an allee, a grand entrance to the magnificent library and fountain. New York Botanical Garden, the Bronx, NYC -- March 26, 2022
When I shot this I never saw the person just chillin 😊 until I was looking at my pictures & zoomed in.
as often as possible, lose yourself in contemplation.
it works better, i think, if you can do that outside so the layers are peeled back and the real stuff can get in easier.
I always intended for this to be a HDR image. I took several bracketed images, but after processing, none of them looked anywhere near as nice as this single exposure.
Interesting house. Appears to have a poured foundation and an intact roof, with cement board for siding. Why?
