Beaver Pond, along the Vloman Kill, at the end of winter in the town of Bethlehem, located in upstate New York. Image taken with a Hasselblad Stellar (a pocket point-and-shoot camera, not a full-fledged Hasselblad) -- essentially a Sony RX100 with a fancy (but helpful) grip and Hasselblad branding. Very useful as a lightweight camera.
Singing in the rain wasn't going to happen around here, since it's been snowing like crazy throughout February. Even with this never-ending snow, the birds flock to our trees and feeder all day long. They usually perch in our honeysuckle tree between stops at the bird feeder and entertain us with their chirping and singing, so I decided to go with "singing in the snow."

Pink camelia, and

The calendar says it is spring, but winter remains, an unwanted guest. The bare tulip trees make it possible to see the Esther T. Mertz Library at the New York Botanical Garden. This group of tulip trees are all descendants of the same tree and form an allee, a grand entrance to the magnificent library and fountain. New York Botanical Garden, the Bronx, NYC -- March 26, 2022
