Connected (in the Connect group): be careful which apple you try to eat!
I recently took a trip up to NYC for art class. It was right before Christmas too, so the tree was up. :)
We had a couple hours to get lunch and walk around the city, and then we got to go to the Museum of Modern Art. And guess what?! "Starry Night" was there!!! Unfortunately, it was so crowded that I couldn't even take a picture, and we did have a time limit, so I couldn't wait there forever. But either way, it was a really awesome time. :)
This is an overlay of an apple I shot, and the city.
Film. (Press L)
+another overlay in comments, some more shots from the city, and some from MOMA
I had to wait in this morning while the cavity wall insulation was done, therefore it's just a quick still life of fruit!
I'm quite pleased with the effect obtained by using a very simple setup of natural sunlight and a white background.
So I rummaged around the house and though what can I add to the mix...Obviously really and small mason jar and some orange juice. I have to say I really am starting to have some fun with this still life stuff. I might make this the last of these for the moment, but they may make a return!
Lufthansa & apples havent been the sweetest of things lately.
Neither the one you can eat, nor the one you tag on your baggage have received good press on social media.
The real one, as part of the "tasting heimat " revamp has been much derided by frequent flies who have described the handing out of these apples after the main meal as a hygene issue. Then there's the Apple airtags, booming in sales recently with all the lost & delayed hold baggage, Lufthansa banning them from their flights because of bluetooth signals affecting aircraft communications.
Nevertheless, this one is....ready to eat.
