These are my apples of choice. They are sweet and really crunchy and juicy. It amazes me we are still getting them this good from our co-op. In the summer we get them from Indian Creek Farm that is near where we live. Their apples are the size of a soft ball and they don't charge an arm and a leg for them. Note the stems are cut, that is part of the process done on these apples to ensure the fruit doesn't get punctured. These apples are nurtured because of their delicacy!
I'll admit its quite happy looking for a deadly poisonous apple, but that's its charm and allure. Its my first attempt at making a plus fruit, and though its far from perfect, there is a charm to it. its filled with polyfil and some rice and dried lavender to weigh down the bottom (it could be used as a pin cushion or paperweight.

Apple y la gran manzana......no, no es el cuento de Blancanieves......es el cuento de un gigante adorado por muchos y odiado por otros...un cuento que como todos los cuentos tiene un principio ya conocido y un final aun desconocido, pero un final.
These are by far the best apples I have ever had the opportunity to eat! I couldn't resist taking a pic!
The only place the texture showed up was in the water drops under the apples. Back to the drawing board.
