The tree produces an abundance of flowers in Spring and loads of crab apples in the autumn. It's also puts on the most incredible display when the leaves turn from green to every shade of red thinkable every October
I can't remember the last time I saw an apple that didn't have spray spots.
Our Daily Challenge: SPOTS
But not the kind you are familiar with. These frilly pink flowers are Malay apple blossoms (Syzygium malaccense), Myrtaceae family.
Ii’s strange when we work with these Apple trackpads on a mac and when we look at the past of the computer interface devices.
Today they are so natural in use that the absence of them is almost intolerable.
I really need a mouse and a trackpad, each one is special depending of what we do.
Magic Trackpad is really beautiful and is a necessity tool for me.
This trackpad has arrived for my iMac yesterday, And I have to give my personal Thank’s to Apple Support Professionals.
Nothing to do. Got my Nikon, shot in Manual Mode four Fuji Apples, edit in Corel Draw and this is the result.
Just to relieve some boredom.

Harvesting apples in the rain on 3rd October 2025 at Laurel Tree Farm, Sussex, for the Felix Farm Rescue Project. Like many farmers, the owners of Laurel Tree can no longer afford to pick and sell their fruit. So, along with two nearby farms in Kent, they are donating almost their entire crop to the Felix Project, a food distribution charity based in London. Our team of 13 volunteers picked around 3 tonnes of apples in one shift. Multiply that by all the teams picking on the three farms throughout September, October and into November, and that's a lot of fruit. Felix turns it into delicious bottled juice, uses it to cook in its kitchens, or sends it out from its warehouses to charities and schools all over London. The thought of just one of these wonderfully fresh, fairy-tale-red apples turning up in a kid's lunchbox is enough to put a big smile on your face.

This is part of a fruity photo shoot I did for a WA-List website article. If you have a Facebook account, please vote for your favorite apple(s) on the site's Facebook page. No need to 'Like' the page to vote, btw, but I hope the poll gets many votes.
Took this for the diagonal assignment at DPS. I waited for the afternoon sun to catch the light through blinds. Unfortunately, the sun only lasted about 5 minutes so I didn't have a lot of time.
I took these apples and made the best apple cobblers ever (they were mini-cobblers, SO GOOD)!!! :D
HERE IS THE RECIPE:
Apple-Crisp Baked Apples
Notes: You can substitute 1/3 cup golden raisins for the walnuts if you like.
(*i added raisins and craisins, and it was GREAT!!*)
Ingredients
* 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped medium fine
* 1/3 cup pecans, chopped medium fine
* 1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
* 1/4 cup rolled oats
* 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small cubes
* 6 medium Pink Lady or Jazz apples, or other firm baking variety
* 1 1/2 cups apple cider
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350º. In a small bowl combine walnuts, pecans, sugar, salt, cinnamon, cardamom, and oats. Add butter cubes and toss to combine.
2. Peel the top third of each apple and, using a melon baller, scoop out the stem and enough of the core so that the walls of the apple are about 1/2 in. thick. Take care, however, not to break through the bottom of the apple, or the filling will leak out when baking. Make the hole a bit wider at the top.
3. Using a small spoon or your fingers, generously stuff each apple; mound extra filling on top.
4. Put the filled apples in a 2-qt. baking dish. Pour cider into the pan around the apples, cover the dish with foil, and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake, basting every 15 minutes, for an additional 30 to 45 minutes, until apples are easily pierced with a sharp knife (they may split open a bit at the bottom). Serve apples drizzled with the sauce from the pan and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream alongside.

I stopped by Christina today to pick up two bottles of wine that were waiting for me there. A gift from Germany. Walking through her garden she picked this apple and gave me. Smells delicious.
