The Apple Shed is a Museum, Ciderhouse and Café, showcasing the best of local product.

In the rustic surrounds of an original apple shed built in 1942, learn about the Huon regions fascinating apple heritage told through the eyes of Willie Smith, the founder of William Smith and Sons Orchards. Wander around the museum, take a walk around our heritage apple trees, or just sample some of our delicious ciders. At The Apple Shed, we believe the best tasting food is local, seasonal and sustainable.

These apples are hanging from a very old apple tree.

Apple Store at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. It moved to it's current location in late 2011 from across the street.

yeah, uhm... this thing was just twisted and weird. Thanks go to my friend (and at-the-time co-worker) Goose (yes, that's his name... well, basically), who has, let's just say, an interesting imagination. ;-)

My guess is the "UW Medicine" pencil is an attempt to help the apple recover from the effects of the decay. ;-)

Apples neatly stored in rows for wintertime

My backyard grafted apple tree is in full blossom &, boy, is it lovely! It's a real kick to see the delicate, light pink blooms on one side & the deep, almost maroon ones on the other! Wonder if I'll have many apples this year? The wildlife sure love them! Seen in Columbia County, New York, USA on May 12, 2011.

A bill from 1947 related to the previously posted page. 36,000 pounds of apples were being shipped from Traverse City, taking a lake ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee, and heading to Minneapolis.

Urban Herbivore didn't have any of my favourite sweet potato date muffins, so I settled for the apple blueberry ('cuz I like blueberries also). It wasn't as memorable. :(

Ironically, while I was sitting to my soup and muffin, another girl went to the counter to inquire about the sweet potato date muffin - I think that's a huge sign UH - please make sweet potato date muffins regularly!

Apple is my new BJD, a pukiFee ante. It has not yet his wig, suddenly, not to catch cold, she wears the hat of my little pony Junko.

This is my Christmas gift from me to me. I'm already crazy.

As it's got a lot colder I've put up the bird feeders again. The birds are enjoying the peanuts, but this little girl (female chaffinch) preferred the little crab apples;)

With over 40 lbs of apples... Perhaps he will make some sauce or even a pie!
