Vanuit Kleinenbroich werd doorgereden naar de IJzeren Rijn, om de Euro 9000 nog een keer bij Rheindahlen op te wachten. Anders dan verwacht en gehoopt ging de loc niet in diesel modus verder, maar werd een loc van Siemens PCW voorgerangeerd.
PCW 4180 001 met Stadler 2019 301 en 14 Fcs raast door Mönchengladbach-Rheindahlen op weg naar het Siemens Prüf- und Validationcenter in Wegberg. Achter de trein is het spoor naar de Britse militaire basis zichtbaar, waar in 2018 voor het laatst een trein gereden heeft. flic.kr/p/26dmiui

I was pleased to spot a King Rail traversing the service road from one side of a local tidal marsh to another recently. While generally preferring to stay well hidden, there's no better incentive than anther tasty morsel to bring these elusive birds out in the open periodically. Staying low and still, this one paid me no mind as it went about it's business.
