Het Poolse transportbedrijf Laude heeft in 2019 bij Siemens een Vectron MS besteld, welke in januari 2021 afgeleverd is. Aangezien Laude zelf geen spoorvervoerder is is de loc ondergebracht bij PKP Cargo. Op 17 februari 2021 vond de eerste inzet plaats van PKP Cargo naar Krefeld-Uerdingen. Na enkele overnachtingen begon de loc op 20 februari 2021 aan haar terugreis naar Polen.
Laude 5370 034 (193 488), in dienst bij PKP Cargo, met vol beladen containertrein van Rheinhausen naar Malaszewicze, als trein 47647 door Rumeln.
Das Wetter war am 19.09.2021 einfach nur unterirdisch schlecht, was mich aber nicht davon abhielt, einen kurzen Fotohalt in Blausee einzulegen. Bevor wir den Extrazug nach Gleis 1 stellten um die Gäste aus dem LBT Besuch wieder zu empfangen, konnten wir die Einfahrt in Blausee auf Gleis 3 mit der teilweise frisch folierten 186 904 «Ceneri» und der sauberen 193 520 «Diveria» bei strömendem Regen festhalten.

June was a tough month... Not only did I have my transmission go out on the truck. Their would be NO storm chasing for about 3 weeks. Of course its June and we did have few good storms pass though and I was disappointed that we couldn't go get em all.
Back in the saddle for this last June storm. Nice for almost end of season development. Under the base this storm no tornado was going to form due to it being undercut. Nice rotation in this cell though, and it was what we came for.

Another from my visit to Newark. This is on Beastmarket Hill.
The building Ossington Coffee House, dates from 1881 when Charlotte, Viscountess Ossington, proposed a new café or coffee tavern in Newark. It was built close to the River Trent, opposite the castle and cattlemarket, on land bought from the Handley family. The purpose of the coffee house was to promote the cause of temperance and lure farmers away from the town’s public houses. The building has had many uses, including as stables, a hotel and a base for military personnel during both world wars.
On a plaque high up on the front of the building it reads,
"Ossington Coffee Palace. A perfect copy of a 17th Cent Hostelry erected in 1882 as a temperance hotel by Viscountess Ossington a daughter of the Fourth Duke of Portland and widow of the First Viscount Ossington one time speaker of the House Of Commons"
Currently it's Zizzi, an Italian chain restaurant for pizza.

……Well, we’ve reached the end of 2020, staying positive - lets hope 2021 is indeed a Happy one when it gets underway and when the Vaccine fully rolls out. I made this from a shot I took at Greys Court near Henley on Thames a few weeks ago. Well whats going to be the last picture of the year? Going to be a cold one for sure - may be a misty one? Osprey
The Osprey (Pandion haliaetus), sometimes known as the Sea Hawk, Fish Eagle or Fish Hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. It is a large Raptor, reaching more than 24 inches (60 cm) in length and a 71 inches (180 cm) wingspan. It is brown on the upper parts and predominantly greyish on the head and under parts, with a black eye patch and wings. In 1994, the osprey was declared the provincial bird of Nova Scotia, Canada.

En concreto, estos bonitos campos de lavanda los puedes ver en los alrededores de la localidad de Brihuega, en la provincia de Guadalajara, donde llegas en menos de hora y medio desde Madrid.
Fue hace ya unos 30 años cuando un agricultor de la zona descubrió los campos de lavanda de la Provenza y vio que era una producción idónea para los campos que rodeaban su pueblo, cuya actividad agrÃcola estaba en pleno retroceso.
La lavanda es un arbusto aromático que da unas caracterÃstica flores de color lila azulado con forma de espiga, cuya esencia es utilizada para la producción de perfumes.
Desde entonces en la zona de Brihuega se han plantado unas mil hectáreas de lavanda y se ha establecido una planta de tratamiento y producción de dichos perfumes.
De esta forma, en la actualidad dicha localidad de Guadalajara se ha convertido en uno de los grandes productores mundiales de la esencia de lavanda, con el 10 por ciento de la producción total.
En concreto, los campos de lavanda de Guadalajara suelen estar a mediados de julio en plena floración, la cual te confirmo que en este año 2021 ya es posible verla en la primera semana de este mes, y como mucho durará hasta finales de mes, cuando se inicia la siega.
Coincidiendo con esta época, en Brihuega cada año se programan diversas actividades en torno a dicha floración durante el denominado Mes de la Lavanda.
La más destacada es el Festival de la Lavanda, un evento que anualmente se celebra en la segunda quincena del mes de julio.

Je m'étais situé à flanc de falaise sur les hauteurs de Vitrolles sans grande conviction d'assister à quelque chose de bien sérieux, la fin de journée avait mal commencé avec des nuages bas, une visibilité médiocre et un ciel fade, pour au final assister progressivement à un revirement de situation notable avec un spectacle d'abord lointain qui offrait littéralement un barrage de foudre pour ensuite atteindre rapidement l'Étang de Berre où il y aura eu cette inoubliable pluie de foudres ramifiées d'un autre monde sur toute sa surface.

Like the larger thrushes, robins start singing early in the morning. The song is clear and beautiful, comprised of rippling notes and whistles. Robins are one of the few birds to sing all through winter
Nog nagenietend van ons treinenspotten in Tsjechië kon er eindelijk na een maand weer een dagje vrij worden genomen van het werk in combinatie met gunstige weersvoorspellingen. Mijn treinspotvriend en ik hadden weer zin in een dagje Duitsland.
Hier zien we de VTG Retrack Vectron 193 828-1 met een keteltrein richting Rheine bij Püsselbüren op 8 oktober 2021 in het laatste licht van die dag. Op het veld op de voorgrond is vaak mais of koren te vinden. We zijn anno 2021 ook blij met het "nieuwe" gewas: gras. De snoeibeurt langs het spoor was voor het spotten ook zeer gunstig. Op de achtergrond is de Zechenbahn te zien. Helaas wordt deze momenteel nauwelijks gebruikt.

17-september-2021: the transparency of the air enhances tones and contrasts and it is a rather frequent situation in late summer and autumn once the main cold front has passed.
The weather improves almost everywhere with the fresh and dry air following the front, but the sea still releases considerable heat, stored during the summer, and this creates contrast with the new colder air, generating showers and local thunderstorms from the Gulf of Trieste to Istria/Istra peninsula.
Thank you so much for the opportunity! I really really enjoyed taking photos at the Grove. Everything about this place is amazing. The environment and people! :)))
