Welcome to my little corner of the web!
My name is Molly, and I live near Lake Michigan in Wisconsin with my husband, Mike, and our four rescue cats—Floki, Ivar, Torvi, and Olaf—along with the spirits of several other cats and dogs we’ve loved and lost.
I chose Seclusive Nature as my handle because Mike and I are very introverted and feel most at peace in solitude—whether we’re at home or in the wild.
Mike and I both have wanderlust in our veins and love to explore. We’re also huge fans of all animals, which is the main reason we went vegan in 2006. Our vegan journey has been an adventure of its own, and we’ve enjoyed it tremendously!
I’m an avid reader, a bit of a notebook and bandana junkie, and a fervent nature lover. I’m also quite fond of street art and a firm believer in embracing your wild.
Flickr is the only platform I’m active on. I use it as a creative outlet, a visual journal, a microblog, and a way to organize my photos and videos. While I’m not here for the social aspects, I hope my posts bring some joy to others.

The morning this was taken (Wednesday 2/17/2021), it was around 12° outside and felt even colder. We were back in our house after a night with no power, heat, etc. and I just needed to see this as I drove into work about 6:20am. The sunshine didn't last long as another storm front rolled in just a couple of hours later bringing with it more ice, snow, and cold wintery weather. But this brief break was well received...and an opportunity to snap a couple of photographs!!

Gelukkig kon ik er op vrijdag 19 maart 2021 nog een dagje op uit. Fijn om even het thuiswerken achter me te laten en lekker te gaan spotten. Het oosten van het land werd weer bezocht in de hoop nog wat bijzonderheden aan te treffen in het zonnetje. Dijkerhoek, Notter, Holten en Zenderen werden bezocht. Het was vrij rustig qua cargo, maar zoals altijd rijden er toch weer een paar fraaie treinen over de Bentheimer-route.
In Zenderen werden een paar foto's in de categorie "nu nog normaal, maar straks niet meer" onder verschillende dreigende luchten geschoten. Zo werd de NS SNG 2310 met stoptrein 7064 Enschede-Apeldoorn gefotografeerd. Ondanks de moderne uitstraling en de recente indienststelling een fraai treintje ;-). Al mis ik het SGM toch wel op deze lijn.

Yoanner Negrín se mostró en plan grande y los Leones de Yucatán nuevamente explotaron a la ofensiva para vencer 12-3 a los Pericos de Puebla, llevarse la serie y escalar a la segunda posición de la Zona Sur.
El último choque en el Estadio Hermanos Serdán fue un auténtico festival de batazos de los melenudos quienes se apoyaron de rallies de cinco carreras en la segunda entrada y otro de tres rayitas en la cuarta para enfilarse a su cuarta victoria de la semana.
En la loma, el ‘Asere’ Negrín dominó durante siete episodios a los emplumados, quienes sólo le pudieron hacer un par de carreras y conectar cinco imparables, a cambio de cinco ponches; esta labor le valió al cubano llegar a 57 victorias con Yucatán para quedar de forma solitaria en el tercer puesto de la franquicia.
El italiano Alex Liddi dio la voz de ataque temprano en el juego al producir tres carreras con su décimo cuadrangular del año, mientras que Luis ‘Pepón’ Juárez también se voló la barda y remolcó otras tres. Sebastián Valle dio su tercer bambinazo en días consecutivos, mientras que Fernando Pérez tuvo una jornada de tres incogibles.
Los Pericos sólo pudieron timbrar en tres ocasiones durante el juego y Danny Ortiz levantó la mano con vuelacercas en el octavo rollo. La derrota fue a la cuenta de Héctor Galván en 1.2 innings con cinco registros aceptados.
Ahora los reyes de la selva encararán una importante semana donde buscarán seguir sumando triunfos recibiendo en la cueva de martes a jueves a los Bravos de León, y visitando el fin de semana a los Piratas de Campeche.

In het weekend van 3 en 4 juli 2021 maakte de 151 van de Stichting 2454 CREW een rondrit langs verschillende railmusea in Nederland. Net als op 19 juni 2021 zou dat betekenen dat het treinstel naar de VSM zou komen, alleen dit keer in veel betere lichtomstandigheden dan een maand eerder.
Op de foto komt de fraaie DE-3 langs de inmiddels beveiligde overweg bij de Els bij Lieren onderweg naar station Beekbergen voor de eerste stop tijdens deze museum safari.

The princely church
The monastery of Negru Voda of Campulung-Muscel, would have been founded in 1215 by Radu Negru Voievod, considered as the founder of the Principality of Wallachia. Later it was occupied by Basarab I and his son, Nicolae Alexandru. And it will be rebuilt by the second founder ’Matei Basarab (1635-1638). .
The church is surrounded by stone walls and has a tall bell tower at the entrance in the form of a fortress, often serving as a place of defence.
The Monastery is composed by:
The princely church "Assumption" dating from the 14th century,
The Church of the Sick "Birth of St. John the Baptist" dating from 1718,
The abbot's house dating from 1635,
The Princely / hierarchical house (casa domneasca) built in the 17th secular on foundations dating from 1301.
The bell tower (35 meters high) dating from 1647
The Cells dating from the 14-19th centuries,
The precinct wall of the church were built in the 14-17th centuries,
The precinct wall of the monastery dates from 1712.
The fortifications dating from the mid-14th century are made in the form of a wave of gravel and rocks 9 meters wide surrounded by a 2.5 meters deep moat filled with water. The Royal Palace was the core around which all the other constructions that will form the Negru Voda Monastery were added along the way.
Hazel was extra comfy on her birthday with a warm blanket and Floki! Ivar looks disgruntled but that’s just his “I just woke up and am going back to sleep almost immediately” face.
