Instead of maintaining own locomotives, DB is renting locomotives from private companies. Railsystems RP is one of these companies and their locomotives are really beauties. All having nice liveries, some with heritage liveries like 295 067.

The Nissan Super Surf Girl Pro is an event that features the best female surfers from around the world to compete in Southern California.
The weekend of September 17–19, 2021, the Oceanside Pier plays host for the annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro, which is the largest female surfing event in the world. It is also one of the largest gathering of super telephoto cameras lenses! Taken 9/17/2021.

Our family runs a horseback riding outfit in Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas www.cowboytrailrides.com , Nevada. It was a beautiful day, with amazing winter light, so we went up and photographed the cowboys and cowgirls getting the horses ready for the day of riding.

Monster Truck Show at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, Virginia. Recent rains turned this into a muddy affair. Something these guys do not normally run in. They had difficulty gaining traction and the large tires would throw up lots of mud in the air. With slow camera settings for night time shooting it made for some cool photos

Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square) is a major square in central Amsterdam, Netherlands, named after Rembrandt van Rijn who owned a house nearby from 1639 to 1656.
The square has its origins in the defensive walls constructed in the Middle Ages to protect the city. The site of Rembrandtplein held a Regulierspoort or gateway into the city. By 1655, the city had expanded beyond this area and it began to attract visiting farmers who brought their butter, dairy and poultry products to sell in the city and it became known as Botermarkt or butter market. By 1668, the Regulierspoort housed a Waaggebouw or weigh house. Each autumn, the square hosted a fair and the farmers' stalls were replaced by dance orchestras and circus tents. The market continued under this name until 1876 when a statue of Rembrandt by sculptor Louis Royer was moved from the perimeter to the centre of the square and it was renamed Rembrandtplein (eng.: Rembrandt Square).
By the early twentieth century, the square developed into a centre for nightlife drawing artists, young people and laborers. To serve these visitors, several hotels, cafés and entertainment venues opened in the adjoining streets. The area continues to be popular with residents and tourists.
The square is bordered on the east by Utrechtsestraat, Reguliersdwarsstraat on the south, Regulierbreestraat on the north and Halvemaansbrug on the west. The largest building on the square, across Utrechtsestraat, was designed in 1926 by architects Bert Johan Ouëndag and Hendrik Petrus Berlage as the head office of the Amsterdamsche Bank, later ABN AMRO. ABN AMRO vacated the structure in 2002 and in 2011 it reopened as retail office building named simply The Bank with 25,000 m2 of space after a five-year renovation.
Thorbeckeplein, named after politician Johan Rudolf Thorbecke (1798–1872), is adjacent to the south, and leads to Herengracht.
Tram lines 4 and 14 operate on Regulierbreestraat and connect Rembrandtplein to the Stopera, northwest across the Blauwbrug (Blue Bridge) on the Amstel River, Dam Square to the northeast, and Amsterdam Centraal railway station.
The statue of Rembrandt was made in 1852 by sculptor Louis Royer and is of cast iron. It was cast in one piece and it is Amsterdam's oldest surviving statue in a public space. The current design of the square is the result of a €3.5 million renovation completed in December 2009. The statue is on a grey granite base bearing a replica of his signature. It occupies a space in the centre of the square facing a plaza paved with matching gray granite slabs accented by planters, trees and a small fountain. The perimeter of the square is bordered by grass and trees.

The Stelea Monastery in Targoviste is a Romanian Orthodox monastery of monks that was built in the second half of the 16th century by the merchant Stelea.
👉 The «Resurrection of the Lord» Church was built between 1644-1645 centuries by Vasile Lupu on the site of the older church founded by Stelea the merchant. The architectural style of the church has a Moldovan specificity, being the only church built in Wallachia on the model of the Moldavian church Trei Ierarhi in Iași.
The bell tower was built in the 16th century. The surrounding walls with traces of cells date from the 17th century as well as the door body.
Cell body (west side), was built in the 17th century on foundations dating from the 15th century and rebuilt in the 19th century.
The fortified Evangelical Church of Prejmer was built in the 13th century on the basis of an old Romanesque basilica dating from the 12th century.
It was around 1211 that King Andrew II of Hungary granted the Teutonic Knights rights to this territory. They are the ones who began to build the church of Tartlau (Saxon name of the locality) whose construction will continue in the Burgundian Gothic style introduced by the Cistercians at the monastery of Cârța.
The church was built as a Greek cross, modified by the interventions of the 16th century. Initially, the building consisted of four equal arms arranged around a square centered by an octagonal tower. Each arm was made up of two bays, one square and one polygonal, the choir of the church being flanked on both side by two pairs of rectangular chapels. The kinship with the spirit and forms used on the site of the Cistercian monastery church in Cârța, and with those present at the Church of St. Bartholomew in Brașov, both built after the mid-13th century, allows the dating of the church of Prejmer in the second third of the thirteenth century and its inclusion in the same stylistic atmosphere.
After Prejmer was the first locality to suffer the blows of Turkish troops (passed through the Buzău pass) King Sigismund of Luxembourg ordered the construction of defense systems in Ţara Bârsei. The church was fortified by a high and strong enclosure surrounded by a wide water ditch. The fortress, built in a circle, had walls 3-4 meters thick and 12 meters high, bastions, iron gates and drawbridges. A guard route was used to supply the fighters of the ramparts. In addition to the mouths of fire attached to the walls, there was an unusual fighting device: the famous "Organ of Death". Made up of several weapons placed together, which fired at the same time, it caused the enemy great panic and heavy losses.
Nb: In the church is the oldest triptych in Transylvania, dated between 1450 and 1460.

Now that we’re fully vaccinated, we feel more comfortable getting food from restaurants. Tonight was only the second time we’ve eaten out since the pandemic started and we’re very happy we did. Not only does Paradigm have awesome signs around (plus is very local, woman, and queer owned) but Thursdays are vegan burger night. We got a sloppy joe, nachos, and some sweet treats to share. All was quite delicious!
Ternopil has a large network of industrial railroads. But to find a locomotive on this network is quite difficult. Once we saw one, we had to follow her. But the railroad is far away from streets (the companies have the street entry on one side and the railroad entry on the other). Hence, we had to follow the locomotive on foot. After walking for about 2 km we finally found her. Photographing inside the company area was not allowed, but we could photograph her on the company area, if we was standing at the gate.
