The Path to the Sea 26.01.2021

Most of my photographs are captured in and around the city of Molde in Romsdal. The city is located along the Moldefjorden and the river Molde, in western Norway. The city is the largest urban and commercial centre of the Romsdal region as well as the administrative centre of Molde Municipality and of Møre og Romsdal county.
"The city's current location dates from the late mediaeval period, but is preceded by the early mediaeval township on Veøya, an island to the south of present-day Molde. The settlement at Veøya probably dates from the Migration Period, but is first mentioned in the sagas by Snorri Sturluson as the location of the Battle of Sekken in 1162, where king Håkon the Broad-shouldered was killed fighting the aristocrat Erling Skakke, during the Norwegian civil wars. However, settlement in the area can be traced much further back in time—evidence given by two rock slabs carved with petroglyphs found at Bjørset, west of the city centre.
The Moldefjorden is a fjord in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is a 20-kilometre long branch off of the main Romsdal Fjord."

Op 27 januari 2021 werd afgereisd naar Delden om de bediening daar eens vast te leggen en een belofte van jaren geleden in te lossen.
De 6416 mocht op deze dag vanuit Bad Bentheim een tweetal ketelwagens naar Delden brengen. Op de foto komt de DB Cargo 6416 met trein 45766 door het station van Delden kort voordat de aansluiting van KLK Kolb bereikt zal worden.

La Gare Saint Charles, cette gare mythique de la PLM où les grands trains, les TER et les Corails Intercités de l'époque, faisaient escales ou terminus mais les temps changent, la plupart des trains voyageurs sont exploités par des rames automotrices sauf les TER Marseille <-> Lyon et Nice, encore en rame tractés mais de nos jours, les Intercités à destination de Bordeaux Saint Jean et Toulouse Matabiau, connus sous le nom de "Grand Sud", sont encore assurés par des BB7200, BB22200 ou BB26000, ce qui garde le charme d'un vrai train à l'ancienne.
Deux jours avant le nouvel an, je me suis rendu à Saint Charles pour prendre mon TER pour la Capitale Varoise (Toulon), ayant un peu de temps devant moi, je suis allé voir quelle locomotive était titulaire du tout premier Intercité de la journée, pour mon plus grand plaisir, une belle BB7200 béton attendait le départ, c'était donc sous la nuit noire, quelques dizaines de minutes avant l'aube, que la BB7267 avec ses deux pantos en l'air comme l'exige la règle, était immortalisée sur le quai J alors qu'elle prenait l'air frais du matin, en attendant ses premiers voyageurs, le tout, en étant tête de l'Intercité N°4756 pour Bordeaux Saint Jean, avec à son crochet, sa belle rame corail homogène aux couleurs carmillonées, ce qui fût pour moi, le tout dernier train mit en boîte durant l'année 2021.
