Red Fox
The Red Fox, Vulpes vulpes, is the largest of the true foxes and the most abundant wild member of the Carnivora, being present across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America and Eurasia. It is listed as least concern by the IUCN. Its range has increased alongside human expansion, having been introduced to Australia, where it is considered harmful to native mammals and bird populations. Due to its presence in Australia, it is included among the list of the "world's 100 worst invasive species".

Ce 07 décembre 2022, transfert de l'atelier de Melle au musée du PFT à Saint-Ghislain, passage à Mons Grand-Large sous le numéro Z93901 avec la hld5512 et les hle 2309, 2021, 2551 .
Op 28 april 2021 werd een dagje in Blerick gespendeerd. Het was woensdag, altijd een drukke dag. Het was een geslaagde dag want ik kon een groot aantal treinen vastleggen waarvan het grootste deel ook nog mooi in de zon.
Omdat de zon uiteraard draait werd op verschillende stekken gestaan. Als eerst ging ik naar de Voltastraat waar tot ongeveer half 11 de zon goed staat. Daar passeerde Lineas met twee locs, maar een fotowolk verpestte deze foto helaas. Even later passeerde een Arriva FLIRT als LM, deze foto is erg mooi gelukt en zal binnenkort verschijnen.
Plotseling kwam de melding dat de Millingerkalktrein uit Sittard onderweg was, met niet zomaar een loc maar de zeer fraaie 186 258 'Heroes'! Dit is al een fraaie locomotief, maar in combinatie met de witte kalkwagens is dit pas echt een fraai gezicht.
Hier passeert de prachtige combinatie in een mooi zonnetje de Voltastraat in Blerick, onderweg naar Venlo en Duitsland! Na deze foto konden nog vele andere mooie treinen worden geklikt.

Op 30 januari diende ik mijn laatste paper van het eerste semester in. De examenperiode was eindelijk voorbij. Helaas was het weer tijdens de lesvrije week wel een spelbreker. Er werd dus niet zo heel veel gefotografeerd.
Op maandag was ik van plan om de zandtrein van Railtraxx te fotograferen, maar door een melding kort na half één gooide ik die plannen snel om. De 193 342 van DB Cargo vertrok in de Waaslandhaven met een lege autotrein naar Aachen-West. Die kans kon ik niet laten liggen. Ondanks het regenweer, sprong ik op de fiets richting Mortsel. Aangezien ik toch niet met de zonnestand moest rekeninghouden, trok ik nog eens naar het fotopunt aan Y. Aubry.
Na een fietstocht van een twintigtal minuten kon het wachten beginnen. Eerst passeerde de azijnzuurtrein naar Aachen-West. De tractie voor deze trein werd geleverd door één van de Railpool-Traxx’en van DB Cargo, dewelke ondertussen hun aanwervingsstickers aan het verliezen zijn. Deze locomotieven zullen binnenkort ook terug naar Railpool gaan, omdat er nu voldoende Vectrons zijn om in België te rijden. De azijnzuurtrein werd gevolgd door een intervorming van Lineas. Beide treinen konden vlot Y. Aubry oprijden richting Lier.
Daarna was het eindelijk aan de Vectron. In de verte zag ik de trein, met zijn opvallende "Unlock the Dock" livrei, uit de bocht komen. In tegenstelling tot de vorige twee treinen, moest nu wel een reizigerstrein naar Lier worden voorgelaten. De bestuurder maakte van de wachttijd gretig gebruik om een fotostop te maken. Dat is toch wel handig dat zo’n fraaie loc net voor je lens stopt. Na een kleine tien minuten wachten, kon de rit naar Aachen-West worden verdergezet, uiteraard met bijhorend toeterconcert.

The nebula, which shines at magnitude +6.8, is illuminated by a magnitude +7.4 star designated SAO 19158.
Started this one back in April2021 but ended up ditching 5hrs30mins of data as the subs captured in August 2021 were of far better quality because of weather conditions.

Die Augen eines Kindes in“ Corona-Zeiten.

Alle Jahre wieder kommt der Fahrplanwechsel, so auch 2021. Zum kleinen Fahrplanwechsel im Juni 2021 sagte TRI "Tschüs" zum Abellio Ersatzverkehr auf der KBS 760/780.
Neben den uninteressanten MRCE 182, kam auch wenige Monate lang eine 145 an einen Umlauf des RE10. Anfangs die 145 088, später die 145 087. Gegen Ende April wurde diese sehr fotogene Lok doch leider durch einen schwarzen MRCE Taurus ausgetauscht und somit war nur noch der HVZ Zug von der Schwabenmetropole in die Universitätsstadt interessant.
Neben 110 428, waren auch 112 268 und 113 309 auf dem HVZ Zug zwischen Tübingen und Stuttgart im Einsatz. Wie bereits bei meinem Bild des Karlsruher Steuerwagens (www.flickr.com/photos/169419367@N08/51224950651/in/datepo...) erwähnt, war Besagter erst gegen Ende im HVZ Zugpaar anzutreffen und durch die Drehfahrt über Korntal und Kornwestheim Rbf die 110 auf Stuttgarter Seite.
Da dadurch nur noch morgens Motive mit führender 110 möglich waren, verlor der beliebte Einzelgänger leider gegen Ende ein bissle den Reitz.
Aber zum Glück gab es den Freitag Abend verkehrenden Leerzug von Tübingen nach Stuttgart!
So war es auch möglich Abends die ziehende 110 aufzunehmen.
Am 11.06.21, dem letzten Freitag vorm Fahrplanwechsel, platzierten wir uns auf der nördlichen Straßenbrücke von Metzingen, um letztmalig besagten begehrten Zug aufzunehmen. Die südliche Bahnhofseinfahrt sieht übrigens so aus: www.flickr.com/photos/169419367@N08/49708490637/in/album-....
Die in Blumentöpfen an der Brücke angebrachten Blumen, machten sich mit ihren lila und rot-weißen Blüten ganz gut, sodass ich diese unbedingt in das Bild integrieren wollte.
Der Ausleger ist leider etwas ungünstig platziert, leider ist diese Stelle anders kaum umzusetzen.
Circa 26 Kilometer weiter in Richtung Stuttgart stand Jost mit seinem Hochstativ, um an der Einfahrt Plochingen letztmalig diese Prachtlok aufzunehmen. Ihm ist dabei eine gewagte, aber auch kreative Version des abendlichen Leerzuges gelungen! www.flickr.com/photos/137385601@N08/51241834253/in/feed-1...

Great Blue Heron
The Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) is a large wading bird in the heron family Ardeidae, common near the shores of open water and in wetlands over most of North America and Central America as well as the Caribbean and the Galápagos Islands. It is a rare vagrant to Europe, with records from Spain, the Azores, England and the Netherlands. An all-white population found only in the Caribbean and southern Florida was once treated as a separate species and known as the Great White Heron.
