Il lago Kunmin si trova a 25 Km da Pechino nel luogo dove nella seconda metà del 1800 è stato realizzato dall'imperatrice cinese Cixi quello che poi sarà chiamato "Il Palazzo d'Estate".
Il suo nome potrebbe far pensare ad una sontuosa residenza con centinaia di camere ed enormi saloni, sullo stile delle regge europee. Ma il Palazzo d’Estate, dichiarato dall'UNESCO "Patrimonio dell'Umanità", è soprattutto uno splendido parco (uno dei quattro più belli dell'intera Cina) in cui l’arte del giardino cinese raggiunge una delle sue massime espressioni.
I suoi panorami sembrano usciti da un dipinto di epoca classica: dalla sponda del lago Kunming, che copre i tre quarti della superficie del parco, si intravedono templi, ponti e pagode, alcuni immersi nel verde ed altri aggrappati alla collina. Se il cielo è limpido ( e non lo è spesso...), mettete in programma almeno una mezza giornata per visitare il Palazzo d’Estate, in modo da avere un’ora libera per rilassarvi su un prato o per fare un giro in battello sul lago.
I pechinesi si recano qui soprattutto durante i mesi estivi, quando l’afa del centro di Pechino è insopportabile, e per loro una giornata al Palazzo d’Estate equivale a una gita fuori porta.

Playa Perissa, se trata de un espléndido tramo de costa de casi 7 km de arena negra volcánica, al igual que Kamaria salpicada de cantos y guijarros, y un mar de un azul intenso oscuro donde se pueden practicar distintas actividades acuáticas como el snorkeling, pero también jet ski, paseos en motos de agua, banana boat, kiteboard, esquí acuatico etc., que se pueden contratar en alguno de los centros acuáticos de la zona.
En Perissa tienen también un parque acuático. Por lo que respeta a la arena, además de zonas equipadas con sombrillas y hamacas y las libres, también hay otras para practicar beach-volley, áreas reservadas para los más pequeños y otras dedicadas a los happenings (actividades de baile coreográficos de animación). Otros servicios interesantes a lo largo del paseo marítimo de Playa Perissa y en el pueblo en sí, son sus negocios, restaurantes, cafés, minimercados y tiendas de ropa y souvenirs.

About the only way to photograph Durdle Door without people is to use a long time exposure...... But I kept the dog at the foot of the steps! Lee Big Stopper used here but it was a pain as three different colleges / schools groups marking out rocks and sections in the beach, there were hard hats in white blue and green buzzing around, I had hoped it would be quiet in a weekday - some hope. Will have to visit another time and try a late night shoot too.

Without realising it, I revisited this lovely view on almost the same day as last year, just a day early. The weather this time was far from the stormy skies that you can see in that photo, it was a beautiful summer's day with blue skies, much preferred by me.

La città di Shanghai, situata sul fiume Huangpu presso il delta del Chang Jiang, è la più popolosa città della Repubblica Popolare Cinese e la città più popolosa del mondo.
Shanghai è vista come capitale economica della Cina.
Grazie allo sviluppo dei passati decenni, Shanghai è un centro economico, finanziario, commerciale e delle comunicazioni di primaria importanza della Repubblica Popolare Cinese. Il suo porto, il primo del Paese, è uno dei più trafficati al mondo con Singapore e Rotterdam. Nel 2010 ha superato Singapore come volume di traffico.
Per quanto concerne l'estensione superficiale, quindi la vera grandezza di una città, è la terza realtà più grande del mondo, inferiore soltanto alla sua connazionale cinese Pechino, che la supera di oltre 2 volte e alla seconda classificata Tsingtao, quasi il suo doppio.
I maestosi edifici lungo il Bund, la magnifica passeggiata di circa 1 Km e mezzo regala una vista mozzafiato sullo skyline di Shanghai: il Pudong (a est del fiume Pu). “L’isola” di Pudong è l’area più moderna della città: è proprio qui che troverete i palazzi più famosi e imponenti, come ad esempio la Jinmao Tower, il World Financial Center e l’Oriental Pearl Tower che sono considerati la massima rappresentazione dell’architettura moderna mondiale, nonché espressione dello sviluppo della città negli ultimi 100 anni.

Benzi Brofman is a street artist and muralist from Migdal HaEmek in northern Israel. Without formal art training, he independently made his way into the world of mural painting.
Today, he leaves his artistic mark in various cities worldwide. So if you find yourself in Vienna, Barcelona, or Budapest, keep an eye out for his works. Particularly, the famous Brick Lane in London is one of his favourite spots for spray painting.
Brofman not only creates graffiti walls in cities around the globe but also designs murals for restaurants, high-tech offices, and communities. His creative ideas have brightened ice cream shops in Berlin and bagel shops in London.
In addition, he hosts graffiti parties for children, workshops for companies, and gives lectures on graffiti. He is active not only in the business world but also in volunteer and community projects promoting social causes, such as bullying prevention among children and teenagers and the promotion of human rights. His artistic activities often aim to raise awareness of various social issues and bring society together.
