Playful, happy, cute, loves to run, not brave, hates traveling in the car, loves her and our bed, suffers from tennis ball obsession. Sometimes she just stays quiet thinking..like this. i love her.

Done for A Fashionable Challenge. The theme is Carnival and I got inspiration from the Venice Carnival.
My entry to Moda Bake Shop Sliced Contest (Auditions).
This version of my week planner is designed for two family members (each member has its own row) - half of charm pack is needed to make it (for colorful parts) plus fabric for white sashing, fabrics for back and binding.
In version for four family members one charm pack is needed (for colorful parts) plus fabric for white sashing, fabrics for backing and binding.
It can be also used at the office.
Corners of each square are pockets to put there cards with plan for each day of the week or another information. These corners were made from 1/4 of charms and they are sewn between the rows.
Buckle is used to indicate day of the week. When the day changes, buckle is moved to another.
Depending on weight of the buckle (mine is quite heavy) buttons for secure the strip are needed.
Machine quilted (cotton batting was used) and machine bound.

And what do they do when they arrive wherever they’re going? I RIDE is the film that finally tells the true-to-life story of the biker community in America.
Through the eyes and music of The Fryed Brothers Band, I RIDE will take you on an illuminating road trip through the biker world: bare knuckle fights you actually sign up for, wild bar-b-ques and camp outs, and partying raw and rowdy at some of the biggest hard core biker festivals. This trip will wind up at Sturgis, South Dakota for a Fryed Brother Band performance to end all performances.
The Fryed Brothers Band? They’re the best band you’ve probably never heard of. For 29 years they’ve been the exclusive ‘house band’ of America’s Biker Movement. Every year The Fryed Brothers headline most of the preeminent biker events in America including the Easyriders Show in Sacramento, CA, Rip’s Bad Ride in Irvine, CA, Ghost Mountain Riders Show in Salinas, CA, the Circle of Pride in Iowa, and most importantly, ‘Sturgis Bike Week,’ the largest gathering of bikers in the world, which completely takes over the small town of Sturgis, South Dakota every August to celebrate this outlaw culture.
When they were young, Harry and Tommy Fryed’s older brother Mark died in a accident while riding his beloved Harley. The brother’s resolved then to keep Mark’s memory alive through a devotion to the motorcycle culture and the music he loved... and thus was formed The Fryed Brothers Band. The song ‘I Ride’ -- a key song in their repertoire and in the documentary -- is a tribute to their fallen brother.
I RIDE, the film, is a tribute to their perserverance, dedication and love of all things biker.
This week I tried a different process to what I normal do after seeing a link shared by Philip Whittaker of a Luminosity Mask Video Tutorial by Jimmy Mcintyre. I watched the video a couple of days ago so processed the photo from what I remember but this technique seems to be brilliant! I was a bit confused when working on it but hopefully will get used to it! First attempt so hoping to nail it eventually!
Used my crappy filters again for this because I was desperate which I just need to throw out or burn or destroy as they are no use for any purpose on this earth! Think they have stepped down the quality of this picture a bit but I got ride of the horrid colour cast the best a colour blind person could haha!
Sorry for the crazy hair. And in the spirit of full disclosure, I didn't have a flat tummy to start with. But still, that's a baby in there!
Into the woods...
Strange week, its been good and awful in one big confusing mix so in photography i have been quite uninspired! i wish i had done more, these were last minute wander up to the woods as i realised i actually had nothing to post!

Generally, I look forward to fall. It has been my favorite season for as long as I can remember, but this year I wasn't quite ready for summer to end. Now that E is in school and isn't able to enjoy all of our fall (and winter and spring) adventures, it makes me extra fond of summer. So I am hoping that our winter doesn't linger too long.
i didn't take a Polaroid all week long, and i just can not believe that and i just realized that today was the last day of 'Roid week and bam took these thirty minutues before 'Roid week was over... :') POLAROIDS YOU MAKE ME SWOON.

mon: urgh its monday, enough said!! hotdogs planned for tea, forgot to buy hotdogs :(
tues: went for breakfast with nathaniel, christina bailed on us ;) planned hotdogs for tea, this time i forgot to buy buns :( then thought sod it, we'll have hotdog wraps.....
weds: DAY OFF!! spent the morning editing pics from sundays shoot, then took slaine for walkies on the moors, so windy up there, took this windy hair pic :) also banged my head on a rock while flailing my head around trying to get the hair out of my eyes, damn wind.....
watched agents of shield :)
thurs: went to nannys for breakfast :) :)
work wasnt too bad, had a weird guy asking if we sold baby shower gel, hmm i wasnt aware babys had showers!!
spent half an hour giggling to myself after trying to fix my work shoe :) as i knew i had the dentist in the morning and wouldnt have time to buy new ones, it went badly wrong, and looked like my shoe had a bunion, much to my amusement :) . see attached pic....
fri: work was urgh!! had a woman bring a bike lock back mumbling something about it not fitting her door!!! honestly, why are these people allowed out in public!!
sat: glad to get home from work to a yummy jd :)
sun: me and claire had a day of mini shoots felt very proud of us :) :) had a break in between with a coffee and biscuits on the moors :) put a baby in a suitcase :)
got home and baked bread mmm :)
This one was a bit impromptu so there wasn't any "setup" involved. A reflector could have helped with shadows. A background not involving the neighbors garages would have been nice but in the end I caught the part of the water balloon hitting her head that I wanted to. You can see just a bit of it behind her head. It's that sliver of yellow-green behind the pony tail holder.
the local flower shop supplied very fresh flowers, this almost a week after they were delivered on May 7.
Today is Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi. It is an ancient Hindu festival celebrating the brother-sister relationship. Sisters tie rakhis on their brother's wrists and pray for their well being while brothers promise to always protect their sisters. The bowls hold rice and roli(a red powder) used to create a mark on the forehead before tying the rakhi.
