The sheetrock is up in Spanlink’s new office building! A lot of progress has happened in the past week and the new office is looking great!

Revisiting an old favorite. Blue food color in a tank of water. I actually bought the tank the last time I tried this, but today was the first time I got around to using it.

Thanks to my mono-toned workstation and coffee cup for an idea this week.

I saw this shot in my head earlier in the week and decided to give it a go. I used a Hoya +2 close-up filter on my Nikon 18-105mm lens and the Nikon SB-900 flash off the camera, high and to the left.

It was a heck of a learning experience - it took lots of experimentation to try and get the lighting right. I'm still not quite sure that it's 'right' but I sure like the outcome. And the best part is, when I finished I had a nice beer to celebrate with!
