My first (long) week of Me-Made May is finished! My pledge was to wear Canadian designers this week, which ended up including:

- 4 pairs of Closet Case Files Ginger Jeans

- 1 dress with a CCF Nettie bodice

- 3 Sewaholic Renfrew mods, none of which are recognisably Renfrews

-1 Jalie hoodie (I also sewed another one this week, but it got too hot to wear it!)

- 3 Jalie raglans

- 1 In-House pattern Kimono tee, which I made this week

- Ohhh Lulu undies almost every day!

I did repeat the jeans more than once, though I still have one pair I didn't wear... and supplemented with one or two RTW or designed-elsewhere items. Not bad though - now on to European designers for the next week!

I felt like I was going to pop from all the pressure. There just wasn't any more room.

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair...my 3.5 year old has never had a haircut and is quite happy about it! She is the age where princesses, unicorns and all things fairytale are real and she thinks cutting hair would make her a little bit less of a princess. Who am I to take that away?

I loved this challenge. I tried many different things and learned so much. This was so much fun!

Taken from the Pont de la Concorde in Montreal, QC.

After an afternoon trek out on Jean Drapeau island, I eventually decided to make my way across the bridge to get a skyline shot at dusk, and it turned out to be my favorite shot of the day. CC welcome!

SOOC :) :)

yep, yet another sunset shot ;)

really need to borrow someone to shoot some silhouette sunset shots so if you fancy being stuck with me in the dark on the moors, and possibly being chased by a ginger rabbit, let me know hehe :)

Back in Melbourne, back to the cold, back to the rain. Here's one from the comfort of a heated car of so brave souls on the back of a bike... in the cold and wet. More next week.

Travelled for the Company Christmas party to Saxony and we had snow there.

Artistic: OrangeYour inspiration this week is orange. Either the color orange or an actual orange. Or both.

Easy one for me this week as I often take pictures of our cat.

Tried a few times in different light and then this shot came up while I was making breakfast.

First visit to this location Clints quarry near Egremont spent a few hours stumbling around in the dark so think I'll have to go back in the day light for a proper look!!

The edge of a thin sheet of ice on a small stream where a few rocks and a slight drop in elevation, almost make a miniature waterfall. The lower edge of the image shows the worn edge of the ice from the motion of the water. I didn't get wet, but was real close to the water. Good thing it was a narrow spot.

Full view of area is first image in thread.

I took a short week through my village but it was pretty cold.

Took quite a few sky photos this week - this was the one that captured me the most. Love the simplicity and the symmetry of the plane against the beautiful blue skies and spring foliage. Hope you like it too.

For Your Information

Thanks

Feeling that my hugeness is more objective now.

Ten weeks in and I already have my first missed week. Real life got in the way and week 9 just slipped right past me.

If Mickey could, I'd ask him to remind me each week, but knowing how he likes to hide from the camera, I doubt he would ;).

Just downloaded Lightroom & VSCO presets!.

In love
