I went to a Volkswagen festival in Daytona Beach. It was the coolest thing. I entered my bus in this show, which was only for vans. Of course, I didn't win anything, but it was still tons of fun. Maybe next year! It was awesome getting to see all the buses and talk to the owners. They share my passion for V-dubs.
My video does not do it justice. It was an amazing experience in Singapore.
No tripods or pro cameras allowed inside but no problem taking and sharing photos with phone cameras. Here is just a small collection of photos and video I took with a S22 Samsung phone camera.

Like every year there was a nice fair around the NDSM at 'Koningsdag'. Children could offer their toys for sale and lots of food vans were present to complete the party.
This J7 was converted in a mobile-home and sold crêpes this day.
Note the double sliding doors.

In 1963 kreeg architect Aldo van Eyck (1918-1999) de opdracht een rooms-katholieke kerk te ontwerpen voor een nieuwe parochie in Kijkduin, aan de rand van ‘Meer en Bos’. In 1969 werd de Heilige Pastoor van Ars-kerk ingewijd. Vriend en vijand spraken hun bewondering uit: het gebouw was gedurfd, uniek in zijn soort. De eigenzinnige Van Eyck had gebroken met vrijwel alle bouwtradities binnen de katholieke kerk, zonder dat dit ten koste was gegaan van de sacrale sfeer.
