Generic city van really, coming from the UK these are more prevalent than bigger US counterparts, (Obviously).

All its doors open and has some limited steering. Quite pleased with the compactness of it.

One I've photographed in the past,but as I parked in front,I thought I'd get another shot.

As far as I know it's the only Robin of this shape still on the road locally.

Never seen one of those before!

Seen at the 2024 Rushden Classic Car Show at Hall Park, Rushden, Northamptonshire

For years I have gone by a body shop when driving up to the in-laws with this heavily modified VW van. Today it was outside so we stopped so I could get a few shots. I think it's an early 60's model originally, and was been shorted maybe 4' back in the 70's. Also has snazzy eagle painted on the front and some other custom work.

 

Starting to look pretty rough but still had to put this up for MBB :)

I don't remember ever seeing a LWB Transit with a single rear axle. This one doesn't have an engine, so despite having plates i doubt it'll return to the road.
