Circumnavigating Mount Nebo's summit is a 4 mile loop called the Rim Trail. Great views of the surrounding River Valley near Russellville, AR abound. Here a hiker nears 'Sunset Point', the western end of the tabletop summit.

Artemis Trail - 7km circular walking trail around the top of Mount Olympus, Troodos mountains, Cyprus (31 May 2015). Classification: Level 1 (easy). Elevation: above 1800m approx. It is the highest walking trail on the island of Cyprus.
This trail is easy, unpaved and mostly sandy, to the line camp and the cave. Beyond that are two ladders you must climb if you want to complete the loopp
My property borders the Constitution Trail, a former right-of-way of Bloomington's first railroad. The hillside is covered with blooms from mostly native prairie plants.

The light trails from stationary light sources where camera is in deliberate motion with long exposure time.
In winter, the butterfly trail is pretty deserted at Eastern Neck Island, wildlife, Rock Hall, MD. This shot almost looks like a pencil scetching it's so jagged.
Fact: People love coffee. Join us on the MBT the first Friday of the month for a cup on us. The next outreach is May 9th 2014, 7:30am-9am on the Met Branch Trail at 4th and S St NE.
Early evening in Railroad Canyon. This is a spot where the trail meanders back and forth, following and crossing the watercourse two places in this shot. But all the water is gone, since it has been a very dry season. I found just enough water for the night further down the trail, in some brackish pools where the stream flows over large sections of bare rock. It seemed to be the only water in this canyon for quite some distance. Intermittent springs are marked on my topo map, but I won't reach them until the following day.

This took some work -- it is a panorama of two different sets of star trails shots, stitched together. After 1 hour I panned the head on my camera and got a different glimpse of the sky. Then I processed both batched separately and finally merged two into one panorama shot. Then I had to perform some post processing to get it to look ok -- I wished I had lit up the cactus on the left a bit more, but it looks pretty good to me.
