This is the trail towards Flat Top Tower, cutting through the meadow just above the Cone Graves at Moses H. Cone Memorial Park. A very nice spot for a view of Grandfather Mountain, too.
A trail in the Ken Dee Marshes, New Galloway.
Might re-visit when the snow comes and use a tripod, wide lens & take more time over the shot. Hand held using the Bigma at the 50mm end.
Orton Technique.
The dog woke me at 3 am to be let out. The recent cost saving by the council in turning the street lights off at 0115 supplied me with a 'wow' moment. I quickly set the camera up intending to shoot until dawn - except the battery only lasted about 90 shots! Here is a 'long trail' time lapse stack result as Orion rotated to his left !
Artemis Trail - 7km circular walking trail around the top of Mount Olympus, Troodos mountains, Cyprus (31 May 2015). Classification: Level 1 (easy). Elevation: above 1800m approx. It is the highest walking trail on the island of Cyprus.
First outing with my new 7D, so i thought i would have a bash at light trails.
Shame about the flare in this one

I (obviously) went hiking a few days ago with my cousin, great fun even with the Florida heat. We had the enormous luck of spotting an ultra-rare Florida panther, though the only photo I could manage before it darted off silently into the underbrush is by no means flickr-worthy. I was too dumb founded to remember my camera has a burst firing mode...
...still, this turned out rather well. It's even more or less what I saw in the ol' mind's eye as I was taking it. That usually never happens.
