From my first attempt at using a backyard trail camera

Kam Shan Country Park Trail is well covered with secondary forests, making it a popular hiking spot close to the city and a place where you can enjoy abundant fresh air. Here you enjoy the lush trees along the Walk and obtain a view of Kowloon Reservoir.

We spent the first days riding the Suncoast Trail, and then we rode the Withlacoochee Trail before going home. The Withlacoochee is yet another paved path, 46 miles long, located northeast of the Suncoast Trail. We drove to Floral City and started there each day, riding north the first day and south the second. This was painted on the back wall of a bicycle store in Floral City.

First attempt at a star trail but this is the best out of the bunch that I took

Our little dog Panda thought it was such a nice day that she would lay in the sun as soon as we brought her outside instead of doing her business. So, we decided to take her on a walk (leashed) through Dennis Creek Trail. She, with her little legs, led us the whole trip.

My first attempt at star trails. I used about 56 30 second exposures. I plan on doing one with more exposures later...Let me know what you think!

The last stretch of our last day hiking in the Garrotxa. On the horizon, one of the hills we'd climbed a couple of days earlier.

Ride cut short today...

A snail on the trail. One of the many nice things about snails is that they are very patient as you take photos of them.

Taken on a trip from the east end of Cameron Lake, up the good trail to the radio tower. From there along the slightly rougher trails to the summit of Mount Wesley. Afterwards it's a steep descent down to the E&N railroad, and then back along the railroad to the starting point.

Shoreham Sculpture Trail

with The London Group

and Friends. A weekend of site specific art by over 70 artists spread around the village of Shoreham, Kent.

One of the largest sculptire trails the UK has ever seen. Featuring 30 London Group members and invited artists, including many prominent UK sculptors. 76 artists will be exhibiting over 200 sculptures in 26 gardens. The astonishing diversity of the exhibits ranges from the monumental to the ephemeral with works in metal and stone, with interactive work and performance and the Trail will be particularly unusual in the number of site-specific works. The idyllic village of Shoreham Kent, a gem just on the edge of London, is a beautiful place to visit just for itself and in June the gardens of all sizes, many on the river, will be at their best - visitors couldn't wish for more perfect surroundings in which to view sculpture. Most artists will be present to meet visitors during the trail and many will be giving talks. The Trail is curated by London Group President Susan Haire.
