The Kreative People Group is sponsoring Treat This Number 181 this week! VeraJane Vickers is providing the seed images, and they are great for October fun – see her original photos in the first comment box below.
I am also entering The Award Tree’s October Days contest and the Halloween Challenge at Silver Dark - Art Mystery.
So many leaves have fallen already. Another two weeks or so and autumn will end. The country road is somewhere near Orangeville, Ontario.
Storm Brendan arrived yesterday, to batter us with wind and rain. I took this shot as we made an early start to beat its arrival. Our area did suffer some damage and power cuts, but not too bad! Day two promises snow and icy roads. More fun!!

Viola Sororia (common blue violet) is a perennial plant native to eastern and central North America. They're one of the first
flowers of Spring. I'm not sure if this flower is considered a wildflower or a weed. Tiny but so beautiful! Love flowers, wildflowers, and weeds especially in my macro photography.
On/Off - Thank you very much for your visit and for taking the time to comment! Much appreciated! ❣

This little guy has been terrorizing my husband’s bait pile. He’s been feasting happily on beets, apples and corn. He’s gotten quite chubby. I’m fondly referring to him as Chubs, my husband’s pet squirrel. I think my husband has other choice names for him though, haha. 😉
Bucharest, Romania
The Palace of the Parliament, seat of the Parliament of Romania, the second largest administrative building in the world after The Pentagon in the United States, built in the eighties of the 20th century under Nicolae Causescu's regime. In terms of weight, the Palace of the Parliament is the heaviest building in the world.
OK - it's a little late for Halloween - but I didn't find any small ornamental pumpkins here until after the fun was over ;o)
This morning I waited for some wonderful sunshine so I could photograph my pumpkin together with autumn leaves on our ranch fence. No sunshine, only a gale blowing and threatening rain. Finally I managed to capture the pumpkin on the top of the fence ... with long grasses blowing wildly behind. So - against all the odds .....
Happy Fence Friday! And have a wonderful, sunny weekend too ;o)
