Amidst pink blossoms,

Raging water flows downstream,

Spring's fierce symphony.

"Dreams"

Hold fast to dreams

For if dreams die

Life is a broken-winged bird

That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams

For when dreams go

Life is a barren field

Frozen with snow.

Winter abstracts 2

when Herons build their nest....I noticed an unusual smile on their face, they seem more jolly anyway :) It is truly fascinating to watch them... I initially thought that they were just picking dead branches suspended in the trees for their nest but they literately break branches from the trees. They are real acrobats as they have to stay balanced on a relatively small branch using their long skinny legs while pulling and cracking the branch they want to take to the nest. Some herons are amazingly skilled, they are in and out of the tree in no times with a branch while others fly in, and have to hop from one branch to another and then another until they finally get something they are happy with... some herons leave with nothing... I wonder what their partner think of that performance when they return to the nest beak empty.

The woodlands speak about harmony of existence...

Here hills and vales, the woodland and the plain,

Here earth and water seem to strive again,

Not chaos-like together crushed and bruised,

But, as the world, harmoniously confused:

Where order in variety we see,

And where, though all things differ, all agree.

Combinatie mist en bos is heel inspirerend voor mij.

Deze komt zeker in mijn nieuwe blurbboek, misschien op de omslag.

Deze is definitief op de omslag terecht gekomen. Mijn gezicht voor 2010

We are in the mid of may 2021 and can notice well that even in the higher regions now most of the trees are getting green and ranunculi are blooming. We are looking over Murnauer Moos to Estergebirge (left) and Ammergebirge (right), in between some part of Wetterstein can be seen far behind.

I merged 3 hand held shots taken with the 35 mm lens to get this panorama view.

I was browsing through my photostream.

Before boredom sent me to sleep, I noticed that I had produced very few (none, in fact) high key images.

So just to prove to myself that I could do one I produced this.

Looks better in black.

and then you will understand everything better.

So many leaves have fallen already. Another two weeks or so and autumn will end. The country road is somewhere near Orangeville, Ontario.
