Part of a thistle head. There are lots of parachute seeds floating around these days looking for the perfect landing. I find them quite beautiful.

The Victoria plum blossom is always later than the pink Japanese plum tree. And looking at the mass of flowers we could be in for a bumper harvest come September! This morning was cold but bright, and the sunshine dappled the petals.
Happy Bokeh Wednesday 😊

Thanks a lot for you always kindly attention, comment, invite and fave :))) !!!
Happy Bokeh Wednesday and Happy Wall Wednesday too!
We have a steeply sloping garden, so it is divided into layers, with low stone walls and steps between the layers. We grow potentilla hedges all over the front walls, as it is hardy enough to survive and thrive! So through the summer the front garden is a mass of colour, with white, red and yellow potentillas flowering everywhere. This was shot by the steps between the layers.
There's a quick snapshot of some of the walls and potentilla in the first comment field.
