Shoot it with one of my old glass bottles!

I've spent so much time this month, shooting the crab apple tree and bringing the blossoms indoors to shoot too. I hope I don't overdose you on apple shots for a while, as I pick some out of the many folders. The blossom is fading and the petals are all falling now ... so I have just about finished for the year! ;o)

Happy Bokeh Wednesday!

This is where I live....well not exactly here....I was out exploring this morning and came across this sumac with the sun just hitting the tops of the trees above. We have 40 acres...lots of room to roam. Saw a bear in the Spring but I think it's gone now.

Many thanks for your support always !

The landscape here is shot through with a patchwork of bright yellow as the rapeseed blooms. Set against the greens of the barley fields and pastures, and the deeper greens of the stands of forestry pines, it makes for a lively quilt ;o)

Often the wildflowers are multi-stemmed. Alone, they're quite insignificant but together they make beauty.

The worst October in recored history for us has left most trees bare of their Fall foliage way too early! But if you look in some very secluded and wind protected areas you can still find a tree or two that when backlit by the sun remind us of what "could have been"!!

Thank You so much for all comments, Faves, views, awards, and invites!!

Yesterday we had a rare sunny morning! So we grabbed cameras and headed out to shoot what remains of the autumn display. As we drove to Leith Hall I used the iPhone XS Max to catch the road ahead,

The background of this was kind of orangey and really looked pretty bad with this lovely pink oleander bloom. I added a Hue Saturation layer and checked off the colorize box....took the saturation slider right over to the left and then just starting slowly painting the color back in. No texture used.

Once in a great while, we get a truly spectacular sunrise - this was Sunday's.

Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leave you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing, and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you."

Despite the driving rain and gales there are still some autumn delights in our favourite woodland walk at Fyvie Castle. This week when we visited there were a lot of fallen branches, and thick carpets of leaves mixed with mud ... but autumn colours still shone through!
