- nothing better than Agouz's face staring at the screen , writing a new post :)

I think we have become pals, or at least he [she?] is becoming used to me. I drive by a couple times a week, and he's usually on one of two trees. Lately he's even been hanging around long enough to let me take a couple shots. Then, after a few moments, I'm sure I hear him mutter something about pests and "tourists", then he darts off to his other tree. Thanks, Pal!

The Thinker c. 1880
by Auguste Rodin
France, 19th century
Bronze
Rodin originally conceived The Thinker as a depiction of the Italian poet Dante Alighieri (1265–1321) sitting in the upper center of a monumental sculptural doorway titled The Gates of Hell. Inspired by Dante’s description of a journey through the underworld in his epic poem The Divine Comedy (about 1320), The Thinker contemplates mankind’s fate while gazing at a host of damned figures writhing in anguish below.

Our future condo is 1077 feet (two "normal" size bedrooms and a tiny office for Dan when he works at home). I know that for some people it's very small (my friend's bathroom in the suburbs is the size of my kitchen and my dining room together...no joke) but just the fact that it will be OUR place it makes it wonderful.
According to dwell magazine (the think smaller edition), small is trendy and smart :)
