I think this photo turned out really nice. In lesson 12 Duchemin talks about point of view and how it can change an image. he states, "Just playing with our point of view can improve an image with no other changes.". That's what I tried to do what this photo being more in level with the fireplace as well as being closer to it as well. In photoshop I adjusted the whites in the levels.

Why on earth wouldn't there be a sign saying what the speed limit IS instead of what it ISN'T ??!!??
So the speed limit is no longer 40.... and you are just left to guess what it is!!!!
Mind-boggling!!!

I think this is a Mangrove G but I'm open to correction. It was fossicking quickly all over this Casuarina tree. Hard to get a clear shot.
These birds are supposed to be common but I've rarely seen one.
After all, he had just jumped and crossed over to this side of the drainage ditch to avoid me in the first place. I didn't even know he was there at first, so these photos were just pure dumb luck.
After this brief attempt at sleep, he did eventually come around. He even "chased" Chloe for a moment or two until she playfully barked at him. It seemed to baffle him. Soon though, I imagine, barking and wrestling will be a common past-time between them.
