I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands sayin how do you do
But they're really saying I love you.
I hear babies cry, and I watched them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
Yes, I think to myself what a wonderful world.
(Lyrics from "Wonderful World")
*using my own pose... :)
I think I might be revisiting this shot in the future to improve it somewhat, but for a first attempt it worked okay. Helped having a second pair of hands, and 4 lights for a change!
Credits to Rob Jackson (go have a look at his stream!)
I think very big animals are complicate in photography composition.
I got this giraffe (girafa camelopardilis angolensis) in a grassland with the Etosha saltpan in the background.
It makes the photo a bit different to me and the animal pose helped the composition too.

I think the corrosion inside the prison spread nearby to this truck - interesting cab and a long bed you can't see.
Found nearby the prison ... perhaps hijacked by an escapee!
Happy Truck Thursday!
I think it looks good in black and white too!!
A historic photo of this part of Brisbane in March 2016 given the redevelopment (into restaurants and bars) under the left bridge pillar and its immediate surrounds.
Theme for Smile on Saturday - Think Pink
One of my favorite blooms, Bougainvillea, at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, FL.
Happy Smile on Saturday!
Remembering our time in sunny Arizona last spring. This Blue-gray Gnatcatcher posed perfectly among the flower blossoms.

If you think foxes don't belong in the city, just remember we destroyed their habitat to build our own.

Let me just mention this dress. It's Clohe from Gaal and it comes with a goodly number of textures and a terrific Leather jacket
Who would think a rose so sweet Would dry and crumble at the feet And blooms that scent the night and day Would steal a heart, then fade away

I think this chickadee was posing - he even puffed himself up a little bit for me. Love these little birds - so much personality.
I think everyone's heart is broken after the news of the tragedy in Tasmania yesterday.
Some days there are just no words.

I think Namibia is a paradise for geologists. Everywhere we go we can find the most interesting rock formations.

Keith (I think that is his name) has unfairly criticized me in the past by claiming that I barely slow down the car to take photos. I thought I would give him a few photos for which I did not have to leave my deck chair. #1.
