Living in the middle of a planting of white tulips, these two dare to be different. I love the gradation from the olive green of the outer petals to the vibrant print of the inner. Impossible to walk past!

I think these birds are so beautiful, and that their yellow feet are crazy looking! This was taken from near the parking lot in Whalers Cove, where the divers get ready to dive. The road along the cove rises so I was able to be a little above this scene.

A Pink Geranium In My December Garden.

I think this is some type of flower crab spider. Very small. Crab spiders do not build webs but rather lie in wait. I thought it was interesting to see how this one seems to mimic the flower it's hiding in.

One of the many black bird types we have locally.

Thanks everyone!

I did think we were not going up for Open House, but an invite from friends in the GWUK group meant we were up and about early, but before meeting them, we went to the Freemason's Hall.

I know very little about masons and their ways, other than one did give me an odd handshake last year, freaked me out, but they seemed nice enough.

Nice Hall to be sure.

-------------------------------------------

Freemasons' Hall in London is the headquarters of the United Grand Lodge of England and the Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of England, as well as being a meeting place for many Masonic Lodges in the London area. It is located in Great Queen Street between Holborn and Covent Garden and has been a Masonic meeting place since 1775. There have been three Masonic buildings on the site, with the current incarnation being opened in 1933[citation needed].

Parts of the building are open to the public daily, and its preserved classic Art Deco style, together with its regular use as a film and television location, have made it a tourist destination.

In 1846, the World Evangelical Alliance was founded here.

Central to the present building is the Grand Temple, meeting place for Grand Lodge, Grand Chapter and a majority of the lodges in the Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London, as well as the annual meetings of a number of the Home Counties Provincial Grand Lodges, and for other Masonic degrees and orders to hold their annual meetings.

Many non-Masonic organisations also use the Grand Temple for numerous events as diverse as Fashion shows and Polytechnic award ceremonies. Bronze doors, each weighing one and a quarter tonnes, open on to a Chamber 123 feet (37 m) long, 90 feet (27 m) wide and 62 feet (19 m) high capable of seating 1,700.[3]

The ceiling cove is of Mosaic work and in addition to figures and symbols from Masonic ritual includes, in the corner, figures representing the four cardinal virtues – Prudence, Temperance, Fortitude, and Justice – and the Arms of Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (second youngest son of Queen Victoria) Grand Master 1901–1939, at whose suggestion the Masonic Peace Memorial was built. A superb large pipe organ is installed, built by leading British organ builders Henry Willis & Sons and recently magnificently restored by Harrison and Harrison of Durham being completed in 2015 with funds provided by Supreme Grand Chapter, the governing body for Royal Arch Masonry in England, Wales and the Channel Islands; this work included the provision of a new "Grand" section of the instrument housed in a matching new case immediately behind and above the console, thus making three - rather than the two original 1933 structures - in total. The inaugural recital on the restored instrument was given on 30 September 2015 by Dr Thomas Trotter Organist of Birmingham Town Hall and [St Margaret's Church Westminster Abbey. Other concerts have been given since by Professor Dr Ian Tracey of Liverpool Cathedral and St George's Hall, London-based virtuoso Jane Parker-Smith and young concert organist David Gray. A further recital is by Dr John Kitchen, Organist to the City of Edinburgh is planned for Wednesday 13 September 2017.

I think my son even looks cute green!

He got a light saber for Christmas but when he opened it he burst into tears. I had bought him the red one because red is his favourite colour but red is Darth Vadar and he didn't want to be a baddy! So sweet. As it's Christmas, and he isn't usually ungrateful we swapped it. Can't have a baddy in the fam! He hasn't even seen a Star Wars movie as he is only 5, but he loves anything that lights up and makes noises anyway.

I think Harold Lloyd, being a very keen stereo photographer, would have approved of this conversion

Saw this rather smart Toyota Yaris on a local street recently.

Sound advice.

think close ups is a better discription though after seeing some of my contacts work..

A low shot also captured the little girl to the side which wasnt planned.

Some woman was coming in my gallery and made a video of zooming on one of my animated pictures there.

She just captured this picture, used the sound of my projector there, the sound of my rain and storm there and took some music on it. she called her movie SPRING RAIN. Far away from my november subject.

[14:41] Rodriguez Munro: come on, I am not silly

[14:41] Glasz (Glasz DeCuir): is your name what you want to add?

[14:41] Rodriguez Munro: I don´t want it and say NO

[14:41] Rodriguez Munro: no

[14:41] Rodriguez Munro: that you don´t even RESPECT me

[14:41] Rodriguez Munro: is already enough

[14:42] Rodriguez Munro: for saying NO

[14:42] Glasz (Glasz DeCuir): I am tired of artists that arent able to understand inspiration on their work

[14:42] Rodriguez Munro: yeah then

[14:42] Rodriguez Munro: SPRING RAIN?!

[14:42] Glasz (Glasz DeCuir): if you want denounce me, I will talk to my rl lawyers tomorrow

I think this view from the gutter is worth seeing LARGE. What do you think?

A very nice dirty girl asked permission to use this picture for her diaries... Of course I said yes!

"I think there's someone out there!"

(groan) "There's no one out there. Just go to sleep."

"No really! I'm serious!"

"I think you SERIOUSLY ate too much of that red stuff and now you're trip'n."

"It wasn't bad you know."

"Yeah! I'm sure!"

"Listen .... Did you hear that?"

"Not listening ... (yawn) sleepy. Good night."
