Sometimes you meet someone you never expected to meet. This was one of these days when Paddington noticed A Fish. Not where it should be- in pond or river - but on the window sill.
Paddington: "Good morning, Miss! Nice to meet you! What you are doing here?"
Fish just opened and closed her mouth.
Frīda: " I dont think she speaks any English!"
Paddington: "I think somebody forgot to return her back to water."
Paddington: "Matilda, why you are hiding behind Frīda! Come closer, say hello to the lady"
Matilda: "I can say it from here too! I believe she is too big to become my friend!"
Frīda: " Too big! You have not seen big fish! Once Ilona took me to Deep Sea World in Scotland...Oh, you must see this, Matilda!"
Paddington: " We need to act fast and get poor Fish back to it's place!"

I dont normally leave messages like this but...
The world has been tipped upside down with Covid and some of us are trapped in situations beyond our control. Stress and Depression are serious issues and our mental health is often brushed aside without proper consideration of the impact it has on us further down the line.
It can be really hard to ask for help when your feeling low, but help is out there, and that hlep wants you to talk to them, they really do.
Those not feeling low, lets do our best to love and look out for one another, and if you can pass on a smile to a stranger it can make all the difference to their day. Smiles can be seen through masks, their in our eyes too, and a smile is more contagious than Covid... So I will make sure my next picture will be a happy one.
Sometimes you get a duck on a log, other times things work out and you get something to remember.

Sometimes I do photograph modern trains. A pair of RhB ZTZEMUs have just met at Litzirüti and are now headed for Arosa and Chur. The ZTZ EMUs are capable of hauling several coaches on the lines steep grades, so atleast one still has the chance to ride in a proper open window coach.

Sometimes everything is just right. Yes, it is just a plain Mallard but the lighting was just right. This Mallard did not see us and we took this photo through the bushes as to not disturb the bird. Females and juveniles are mottled brown with orange-and-brown bills. Both sexes have a white-bordered, blue “speculum” patch in the wing.
