Sometimes I enjoy watching what's going on in my own little garden.
The feistiest hummingbird in North America. The brilliant orange male and the green-and-orange female Rufous Hummingbird are relentless attackers at flowers and feeders, going after (if not always defeating) even the large hummingbirds of the Southwest, which can be double their weight. Rufous Hummingbirds are wide-ranging, and breed farther north than any other hummingbird
In good light, male Rufous Hummingbirds glow like coals: bright orange on the back and belly, with a vivid iridescent-red throat. Females are green above with rufous-washed flanks, rufous patches in the green tail, and often a spot of orange in the throat.

Sometimes looking at certain images it seems that the water moves, although the photograph does not do those things, in me it produces those sensations. Greetings and good weekend to all who visit my gallery.
Sometimes you just have to stop and look at the beauty around you. Off in the distance is my daughter, on the beach at Point Pelee National Park. This dawn sky was so amazing, that time just seemed to stand still for one to take in this sight.

Sometimes what we see and appreciate can only happen at a particular “Time of Year” Water gardens and typical land gardens supply us with beauty we enjoy when the season and weather are correct for their growth and lifespan. Sometimes the notion of having wings and just being able to soar far above all of life's problems seems like an incredible escape. Birdie and I went for a walk this evening, and he seemed very happy to be carried along, never once flying off. We are good friends, and he said he didn't want to leave me down here by myself with my feet firmly planted on pixel earth, so he quietly kept me company in the comforting way that only our furry and feathered friends can. And my spirit soared, and my mood brightened as a result. ♥
Sometimes birds can hide a leg when raised but I see no indication of the raised leg. Bird seemed very healthy. :-)

Sometimes decay properties are so quiet as to be overlooked. Slowly they disappear. A group of old homes near a bridge are in plain sight but no one seems to see them. Old Chain link fence is almost a curtain covered in spidery twigs. Old farm equipment and household items dot the spongy uneven ground.
Old houses always have vibes. This one was particularly interesting. It is maintained beautifully, but has some rather strange vibes coming off of it is in an area that could be very busy. It brings nothing to the area because it’s been closed for quite some time.. i’ve always thought when I see really interesting properties if walls could talk, what would they say? This house didn’t seem to be able to share. No one seems to know the story of the closures of every business that has tried to survive in this historic building. The only comments I obtained from a couple of locals is that the place is haunted and very creepy.. one lady shared a worker has been coming and going doing some restoration and his constant companion, a small, mixed breed dog stops, staring at the door, and refuses to go in even though her owner is in there. That is a curious thing. As the little dog is quite adventurous per the lady, and always accompanies him on all jobs . hmmm
