Sometimes my photos require “Getting Close” to the subject physically. Lying on top of pile of leaves or wading in shallow waters. Remaining always safe there’s not much I haven’t tried yet to “Get That Shot, lol” From the top of the Empire State Building in NYC to a Native American Celebration in New Mexico and many cool places in between. Two of my shoots, one of Cromer pier illuminated by a sunset overlaid with one of raindrops on a window. The pier shot was taken at Cromer, Norfolk, England. The rain on the window shot was taken at my house in Norfolk.
Sometimes the best bird of the day is close to home. After making the trip to the coast in search of migrants and having little luck I spent the last couple of hours of sunlight birding very near my home where I encountered this Painted Bunting. I’m sure glad he seems to have set up a territory and to be here for the summer. Lucky me!!

Sometimes you just want to be alone. Alone to search inwards to your soul and wonder why things happen. And when the sea breeze starts in the afternoon and the sun is setting over the water if you have a setting sun over the water, what exists manifests itself a thousand times and you find you are with mother nature. How perfect can this be when your mind, spirit and surrounds unite to become one and you are in sync with the world. Image taken at FantasyFair in SL. Taking time out from helping and having my alone time.....

Sometimes when we are at a little photo journey, we go away from the roads to the fields and have a look for deer or raptors. Instead we found this amazing cloud at the sky. My man decided that I need anything more on the photo and put silently our mascot, little friend wool vulture Puschel in the grass of the path. I really like his sense of humor...
