Electric Guitar Volume and Tone Controls.
The basic function of the volume knob is to change the level of guitar’s volume output in a smooth and even way. The volume knob can help the player conjure a variety of tonal characteristics that can come in handy provided he play with dynamics.

I saw this truck in a car park in Sheringham, Norfolk and couldn't resist getting a few shots with my Lensbaby Sol 45.
Texture added (my own).
I am so thrilled to have been invited to become a Lensbaby Ambassador.
As some of you probably know, I am a huge fan of the products.
As and ambassador I can help you get 10% discount by using the code WLipinski (not available for new products).
For this image I used Sol 45 with aperture blades engaged.
This is one of three perfume bottles I bought at the Khan Al-Khalili (or Khan El-Khalili) in Cairo - one of the biggest souks or bazaars I've ever been to. Everywhere you turned there were shops and stalls selling absolutely everything - all the colours and smells were dazzling. And many traders offered tea while you contemplated your potential purchase.

It is April 1, otherwise known as April Fools Day and here in Owen Sound, Ontario we woke up to fresh snow! This image is just to cheer us up and think on pussywillows and springtime!
Another iris photo, they are fading fast so have to make the most of them.

Actually I had the focus completely on Tamino and then suddenly Dexter came from behind to disturb the whole scene. So unfortunately only Tamino is sharp or in the focus plane and Dexter behind in the blur area. But I still like it very much.
Yes, it's another tulip but this one was still alive when I photographed it.

I was finally inspired to saddle up my Sony work horse with the Takumar 55mm f 1.8 to see if I could lasso in some bokeh. The dry conditions in the state of New Mexico make it harder to come up with plentiful highlight glitter, so I took my spritz bottle and helped it along a little. I shot hand held because it is easier than trying to wrestle a tripod into the bush
Those leaves look like they are getting ready to prick those bubbles. In reality they are a drab gray color, but when the low, late afternoon winter sun hits them, they come alive again.

I have never seen such a magnificent magnolia as this one at Felbrigg Hall walled garden. It's called Apollo, the blooms are huge and such an intense pink...you probably know I like pink ;)

Starting to get the decorations out, it doesn't seem five minutes since we put them away.
Lensbaby double glass II with whirlpool drop in disc. I also used my star overlay again...well, it is Christmas
I haven't managed to get many photos of snowdrops this 2016 season. I'd given up on the idea of doing any more because the season was almost over and the remaining snowdrops were looking raggy and tired. Luckily I found a few that still looked in their prime - and this is one of my best snowdrop photos, well I think so anyway.
A macro image, focused on the centre petal.

"Shallow Depth of Field" in black and white"
This should be a good challenge with lots of things to consider when taking your photo. Your subject can be anything you choose.
I had a couple of shots lined up for this challenge but eventually decided on this one. The photo is of one of the rails and a couple of ropes on a fishing vessel, it’s moored among several others in Padstow Harbour.
Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
Suan Luang Rama IX, also referred to as (King) Rama IX Park, is a public park in Bangkok's Prawet District. With an area of 500 rai (80 ha; 200 acres), it is the largest park in the city.
The park was built to celebrate King Bhumibol Adulyadej's sixtieth birthday in 1987, and was opened by the King on 1 December that year. It features extensive botanical gardens, a lake, and a pavilion housing exhibits in honour of the King.

Twisted linen yarn, spooled on a 'plastic star' - like here: www.jberger.ch/images/product_images/popup_images/2124_0.png
(I don't know how you call this tool in English ... it's the way those threads / yarns are sold and stored)
(Width of this image: about 3.5 cm - the plastic star is 6 cm wide from tip to tip, the yarn is about 0.3 mm wide)
Happy Macro Mondays, everyone ! : ))
