This horse was nervous ; replacing his 4 horseshoes took a good 45 minutes and 2 persons had to help the horseshoer.

There are plenty of horses in this village against the Iranian border - some families have 4 of them, some could have even more - but there is only one man who does this job properly : a busy man, as he is in the same time a farmer.

The Ritz Cinema replaced the 1886 St George’s Hall New Theatre and Opera House in the 1930s. In 1955 it was re-named Gaumont and in 1966 the Rank Organisation re-named it Odeon and sub-divided the cinema into a triple screen operation from April 1974. In 1996 it was leased to the independent Robins Cinemas chain and they re-named it Robins Cinema. It closed on 2nd December 1999 when the new Cineworld multiplex opened across the road on the former Middle Brewery site.

The building was given Grade II listed building status by English Heritage in 2007. After many years of neglect, it had the upstairs bar restored to its former glory as The Ritz Hollywood Bar. Both auditoriums became one large room catering for functions upstairs and Robins World Buffet downstairs, which opened on 20th June 2014. However, the owners went into insolvency in 2016.

The ground floor is now the Purrocious Cat Café, Lounge and Art & Craft Emporium.

Shitty editing hahahaha woww.

Replaced with not-as-shitty editing.

Does your fuel gauge jump around? Does your vehicle struggle to climb huge hills? Our 1998 VW TDI Beetle had both issues. I look around and found many people suggesting that the fuel flow can be constricted within the tank due to a faulty sender unit. I replaced my sender unit in less than 20 minutes and made a video so others could do the same.

In older properties the bathtub may possibly have a hot and cold faucet handle which can be hazardous and scald young youngsters. To replace an older two handle faucet with a single anti-scalding faucet, a new cover location, and access to the plumbing is all that is needed.

1st, turn off...

Note to self: Always plan to replace fasteners on cars that you let out of your sight, not even talking about cars you bought used or let the dealership fix

The second running of the Clongowes 5KM Road Race and Fun Run was held in Clongoweswood College, Clane, Co. Kildare, Ireland on Sunday March 24th 2013 at 11:00. The wonderful spring weather for the race last year was replaced by a biting Artic wind and a very strong head-wind for the runners coming into the finish along the avenue. Almost 400 participants braved the conditions and lined up on the start line for this event. This is a charity event and all proceeds will go towards the International Camp for Young Disabled, which takes place in August 2013.

The race starts and finishes in the grounds of the college. The start of the race is at the southerly part of the grounds near to Clane Golf Club. The race then proceeds out onto the Clane Kilcock Road, takes a back-road route to the Prosperous road and then back to the college. The final four hundred meters are down the wonderful straight tree lined avenue from the archway at the gate.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the organisation of this race. The race met the high starts that it set last year. This race has the potential to become a very prominent annual fixture on the North Leinster running calendar.

How can I get a full resolution copy of these photographs?

All of the photographs here on this Flickr set have a visible watermark embedded in them. All of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available, free, at no cost, at full resolution WITHOUT watermark. We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. We do not know of any other photographers who operate such a policy. Our only "cost" is our request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, Google Orkut etc or (2) other websites, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us. This also means the use of these images for Facebook profile pictures. In these cases please make a wall post with a link to our Flickr page. If you do not know how this should be done for Facebook or other media please email us and we will be happy to help suggest how to link to us.

Please email petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com with the links to the photographs you would like to obtain a full resolution copy of. We also ask race organisers, media, etc to ask for permission before use of our images for flyers, posters, etc. We reserve the right to refuse a request.

I ran the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set!

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:

You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera

Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set

There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information below.

If you want to contribute something for these images?

We do not charge for these images. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that they are good enough that you would ordinarily pay for their purchase we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.

Don't like your photograph here?

That's OK! We understand!

If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible.

Please note: that we cannot be responsible for the content of any external links (outside of our Flickr account) as we have no control over them. Links are provided for your information only. Responsibility lies solely with the operators of these websites.

Straturday Re-String

I replaced the strings on Felix The Strat today.

Julie was mad at me because I was mean to her last night when I was drunk. I don't remember the conversation she was mad about (me saying she cheated NutriMost).

This mill was built in 1907 and replaced several built as far back as before 1825. This site is whitewater Creek and was one mile from the Creeek Indian boundary and the State of Georgia in 1825. The orginial builder was Hananiah Gilcoat and had built the mill before his death in 1825.

The mill operated until 1959 using a water powered turbine instead of a wheel to grind corn and operate a saw mill. The Starr site also included a cotton gin and a dynamo that produced electricity for the twon of Senoia, Georgia.

Replaced the chrome plated plastic wheels from the kit with beautiful aluminum wheels with a black center hub.

Developed to replace the 75 and based on the parent company Fiat Group's Tipo Tre platform, the 155 was somewhat larger in dimension than the 75 and had evolved styling from that of its predecessor. The 155 was designed by Italian design house I.DE.A Institute. An exceptional drag coefficient of 0.29 was achieved with the body design. The boxy design of the 155 allowed for a big boot space of 525 L.

The most significant technical change from the 75 was the switch to a front-wheel drive layout. A four-wheel-drive model called the 155 Q4 was also available, which had a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and a permanent four-wheel drive powertrain, both derived from the Lancia Delta Integrale; it was essentially considered to be a Lancia Delta Integrale with a different body.

The new model came in "Sport" and "Super" trims. The Sport had a slightly lowered ride height and more aggressive dampers while the Super had the option of wood trim and electronically controlled dampers and seat controls.

The reception of the 155 was generally lukewarm. The 75 had been conceived prior to Fiat's acquisition of Alfa Romeo, so as the last automobile independently developed by Alfa Romeo made it cast a shadow over the 155; the loss of rear-wheel drive was frequently cited as the main cause of disappointment. Nevertheless, the 155 was entered in Touring Car racing and was very successful in every major championship it entered, which gradually improved its image.

Replaced the HDD in my MacBook Pro with an SSD. Only half the capacity, but will be much quicker and less annoying!

It also reduces the weight of the machine by a tiny bit, as well as making it quieter and slightly less power-hungry.

Now all I have to do is wait for OS X to finish downloading...
