Though the 1" keel/ballast bolts were replaced about 13 years ago, they had wasted away to 5/8". Five of the 7 have been replaced so far. The bolts were made of 1" 304 SS w/1" of threads on the bottom & 1+1/2" on top. The other bolts were replaced using 1" galvanized or, in the case of the longer ones, 1" galvanized threaded rod. There's 2 3' threaded rods to replace the bolts in the false keel. The strap floors wrer attached with SS 3/8" lags and floors not thru' bolted were fastened with 1/2" galv. lags

The light produced by the headlamps is a white color comparable to sunlight that is easy on the eyes. Light output is nearly double that of halogen headlamps, affording increased area of illumination.

Replace the cover of the first pot level. You want to try and get your tabs to look like they did before you pried them up. Make sure things are tight and don't wiggle at all.
The sandstone by the front doors has been crumbling after years of salt and snow. Master Mason Jacob Arndt is cutting out the crumbling stones and replacing them with the same type. Arndt is chiseling the new stone to match the existing old stone's lines.
Arndt travels around the country and world doing hisotric restoration. He was in Normandy for the summer and said, "The food was great."

Built in 1922-23, this Classical Revival-style building replaced the earlier Masonic lodge at 6th Avenue and Berry Street, known as the Rayme-Burton Building, and was named for Henry Barnes. The building features a red wire brick exterior, decorative parapet, a cornice with dentils and triglyphs, triple two-over-two and four-over-four double-hung windows with decorative spandrel panels, a front entrance with a portico featuring fluted doric columns, a cornice with triglyphs and dentils, a rooftop balustrade, a double front entrance with sidelights and a transom, with three-over-three and one-over-one double-hung windows above, a side facade with few windows on the upper floors, a concrete base, and a metal fire escape on the rear facade. The building served as a masonic lodge until 2006, and now serves as The Lodge, a venue for artists of all types, including spaces for art display, musical art performance, and musical art recording.
We obtained the building permit and handled all inspections. We obtained approval from the Homeowner's Association to proceed with the work. We saw cut and removed the existing driveway which was cracked and deteriorated. We removed all debris from the premises. We fully compacted all soil. We poured the new driveway with 4000 PSI concrete with fiber mesh reinforcement. We hand troweled the concrete with a double boom finish. We cut all expansion joints accordingly.

After evil bunny rabbits killed off an arbor vitae shrub with over 20 years of spreading roots in the house landscaping, it took a lot of effort with hand tools to remove it, and replace it with a new lilac bush. I've missed having any lilacs on the property the past few years, so hope this new one holds out a while.
