Replaced a Whelen 4000 Series siren. Located on Holly Ridge Road next to the Laurel Inn.

The Argus replaced the RCAF Lancaster and Neptune aircraft types previously flown in the maritime roles. One of the most effective anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft of its day, the Argus was a mainstay for the RCAF. A large amount of equipment was carried, including: search radar, sonobuoys, electronic counter measures), explosive echo ranging (EER) and magnetic anomaly detector (MAD). Up to 8,000 lb (3,632 kg) of weapons could be carried in the bomb bays, including torpedoes, bombs, mines and depth charges.

A flight crew of fifteen consisting of three pilots, three navigators (Observer Long range), two flight engineers and 6 radio officers (observer rad) until the early sixties when the crew included both commissioned officers (tactical navigator/radio navigator and non commissioned officers (observers), the number of which was dependent on the mission. Four crew bunks and a galley were provided to extend the efficiency of the crew on long patrols (average 18 hrs). The CL-28 had an endurance of approximately 26½ hours with full armament. An Argus flown by 407 Maritime Patrol Squadron held the Canadian military record of slightly over 31 hours for the longest flight by an unrefuelled aircraft.[citation needed] This record stood for almost 20 years until broken by the Rutan Voyager experimental aircraft which circled the globe unrefuelled.

The principal difference between the Mark I and Mark II was primarily in the different navigation, communication and tactical electronic equipment fitted internally. Externally, the Mk II exhibited a redesigned smaller nose radome and additional ECM antenna above the fuselage.[citation needed]

The Argus flew its last service mission on 24 July 1981, and was replaced by the CP-140 Aurora.

Jerry has been house bound these last eleven weeks or it might be more correct to say bound by houses. We ran around like chickens with their heads cut off, except we bled money instead of blood as we did the final negotiating in the sale of my mother's house. As soon as that house was finished we took off to Huntington, WV to help by son ready his house for sale. Jerry helped by replacing a 100-year-old door frame, taking out the plaster walls in a closet replacing them with drywall and finally excavating a small hill to build a set of steps....Yippee jobs completed in one week's time but wait there is more. We came home and Jerry worked on the rental house putting in a dish washer, disposal, new copper water pipes, moved the oven, rebuilt cabinets and put in a new kitchen floor. They say things happen in threes and I must say we three is quite enough.

The Weatherproof outerwear company removed their unauthorized Barack Obama billboard in Times Square New York City and replaced the location with a new presidential themed design using an image of Mount Rushmore which features sculptures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln for there add campaign.

Sarah Palin was considered to be in the replacement add campaign.

The original billboard — Weatherproofs, that is — uses an Associated Press news photo from Obamas trip to China. It features Obama standing by the Great Wall, wearing a Weatherproof jacket, with the tag line: A Leader in Style.

Weatherproof had purchased the right to use the photo, but the agreement required the company to seek any necessary clearances for use. A White House lawyer contacted the company on Jan. 8 and asked that they remove the billboard.

In 2002 property developer Mirvac promised home buyers at Waverley Park that the 220 kV transmission line through the middle of the estate would be placed underground. However due to escalating costs this plan was abandoned in 2015, with the traditional steel lattice towers being replaced with smaller steel monopole structures in 2018.

Clint wanted to upgrade our video card after not being able to play 1080p movies for quite awhile.

This new one is cheaper ($170ish vs $220) and far,far more powerful... Milkdrop under Winamp is the most fluid and complex we've seen in our lives.

Of course, we still can't handle SBS 1080p 3-D, since the bottleneck for those is actually CPU, not GPU. Need 3GHz quad-core instead of 2.6GHz dual-core. Not gonna happen for awhile!

The building was commissioned to replace Sheffield's first town hall, which had opened in 1700 to a design by William Renny. This first structure stood by the parish church, on a site with little prospect for extension.

The Old Town Hall was built in 1807–8 by Charles Watson, and was designed to house not only the Town Trustees but also the Petty and Quarter Sessions. The initial building was a five-bay structure fronting Castle Street, but it was extended in 1833 and again in 1866 by William Flockton (1804-1864) of Sheffield and his partner for the project, Abbott; the most prominent feature was the new central clock tower over a new main entrance that reoriented the building to Waingate. At the same time, the building's courtrooms were linked by underground passages to the neighbouring Sheffield Police Offices.

The first Town Council was elected in 1843 and took over the lease of the Town Trustees' hall in 1866. The following year, the building was extensively renovated, with a clock tower designed by Flockton & Abbott being added.

By the 1890s, the building had again become too small, and the current Sheffield Town Hall was built further south. The Old Town Hall was again extended in 1896-7, by the renamed Flockton, Gibbs & Flockton, and became Sheffield Crown Court and Sheffield High Court. In the 1990s, these courts moved to new premises, and since at least 1997 to present, the building remains disused. In 2007, it was named by the Victorian Society as one of their top ten buildings most at-risk

A well travelled ATR.42, first flown with the ATR test registration F-WWEF, the aircraft was delivered to Air Queensland (Australia) as VH-AQD in May-86. It was returned to ATR a year later in May-87 and leased to JAT Jugoslovenski Aerotransport as YU-ALK in Jul-87. In Nov-90 it was returned to the lessor and immediately leased to Cimber Air, Denmark as OY-CIG. It was wet-leased to Lufthansa CityLine in Mar-92 for 2 years, returning to Cimber Air in Mar-94. In Oct-94 it was wet-leased to Holmstroem Air (Sweden), returning to Cimber Air in Jun-95. The aircraft was sold back to ATR in Jun-08 as F-WKVB and stored at Toulouse. In Dec-08 it was sold to a lessor and leased to Atlantique Air Assistance as F-HAAV. It was returned to the lessor in Feb-13 and was immediately sold to Blue Islands Air as G-ISLG. After 30 years in service it was retired at Kemble UK in Jul-16 and will be broken up for spares. The registration was cancelled on 03-Aug-16.

Shots from 2015 of the Main Road level crossing at St Albans station that was replaced with a rail-under-road grade separation the following year along with a nearby location at Furlong Road - a project which involved the rebuilding of new low level stations at both St Albans and Ginnifer.

St Albans for most of its history was the limit of suburban electrification which was completed in 1921 when Melbourne's urban footprint did not extend far beyond West Footscray and most trains terminated at Sunshine. Post war urban expansion gradually extended toward St Albans eventually warranting the extension of services and relocation of the station to the Melbourne side of the level crossing in 1959 with a dock platform for terminating trains meaning only country trains passed through the level crossing.

In more recent years the lopsided east urban sprawl of Melbourne has begun to spread west with development towards Sydneham resulted in extension of suburban services there in January 2002 and beyond to Sunbury in November 2012.

The extensions meant many more trains passing through the level crossing and traffic held up for extended periods through St Albans with the boom gates down. Political pressure to grade separate this location mounted and the project was announced as a package for Main Road, Furlong Road and a third location at Heatherdale near Ringwood in Melbourne's east.

The primary purpose of this project is to replace the bridge and necessary approaches on Route 711 (Tardy Mountain Road) bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad.

The existing bridge is a single lane structure with reduced roadway width and an 8-ton weight restriction. The proposed bridge will be a two-lane truss bridges on the same alignment with slight improvements to the alignment toward Route 682 (Leesville Road). The proposed bridge will be approximately 184 feet long and 22 feet wide VDOT) (Photo by Trevor Wrayton,

This aircraft was delivered to Bombardier Capital Inc and leased to Air Littoral as F-GPTE in Jul-97. Bombardier Capital sold it to another lessor in Dec-97 while the lease to Air Littoral continued. The aircraft was withdrawn from service in Feb-04, returned to the lessor and stored at Calgary, AB, Canada in Apr-04. After more than three years in storage it was leased to JetLink Express (Kenya) as 5Y-JLC in Aug-07. JetLink Express ceased operations on 16-Nov-12 due to financial problems. The aircraft was stored at Nairobi (NBO). It doesn't appear to have flown since then, presumably it's now permanently retired. No further information. Updated Feb-21.

We pleased to say this isn't one of ours! Another example of how choosing the wrong air conditioning contractor can lead to a mess! This is an R22 Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning unit from 1994 which is being replaced by an R410A system. Still on the positive side it does prove how long air conditioning systems can last, even when badly installed. Still, if this was your business or home it certainly doesn't portray a very good image.

If you have an R22 Air Conditioning systems that's either faulty or simply requires replacing for an new R410A energy efficient system please email us at sales@nottinghamairconditioning.co.uk, call us on 0800 849 9490 or visit our website www.nottinghamairconditioning.co.uk

Vaccum driven solenoid for the turbocharger on an H1, I replaced it with a new one and replaced the ghetto wiring harness above it which was fixed by electrical tape.

Electrical tape sucks, moisture can still get in can cause problems. It's heat shrink or nothing.

The right valve had a nice crack and anytime you had the water on the risk of it bursting was too great. Easy fix once the water co shut off the water.

We prepared the site plan and obtained the building permit. We handled all necessary inspections. We removed the existing concrete driveway. We removed all debris from the premises. We compacted all soil. We poured the new driveway with 4000 PSI concrete with fibermesh reinforcement. We hand troweled the concrete with a double broom finish. We cut all expansion joints accordingly.

Made a new light baffle for the rewinder shaft. Then I soldered the PC socket wire back to the top cover.

Replacing the robust, but dated, Star Interceptor, the Mark-II brings both cost-reduction and modernization to the Imperial fleet. Following a mandate to increase production of starfighters for the Magikstrate, Imperial engineers took the frame of the Star Interceptor and applied the latest in fighter technology to design a craft that was easy to produce but capable of keeping up in dogfights with other modern starfighters. It is exceedingly fast and nimble with its massive engines, and well-armed with ship-to-ship missiles and twin Cuprite-10 Shattercannons.

This build was a collaboration between myself and Red Rover. The original Star Interceptor was his design, and it was a fitting inspiration for a smaller companion to my Jaculus fighter. When I started working on it, Red was inspired to make a new pass at the ship himself. I rather liked his version, so this is now my take on his take on my take on his original MOC. Someday, we'll get to put our versions side-by-side, I hope!

Before installing gearbox, replace bushes on the extension, there is one on each side, at the bottom of the forks, and one at the top (arrowed)

I think most stories of R154's shifting like a truck box can be atributed to sad bushes (one of mine had collapsed and rendered the whole spring/fork setup useless.)after fitting new bushes -GREAT!

If bushes are worn, it does shift like a truck- think 1928 Studebaker, going up a steep hill with a full load of pigs on board-that bad!, ( grunty noises as well)

Replace rear drive shaft seal before installing, cost about $5, and a lot easier to install out of the car.
