Left over from the music festival set, so decided to repaint him.
I just used some different shades of brown to do some contouring on his face to define his features a bit more.
I have caught the repaint bug!! And since I had an extra Allan doll, I decided to repaint him today. Eventually I will get a Ken repainted. I have ordered one especially to repaint. Cant wait for him to get there.
Anyway, I decided I wanted this Allan to be a blonde blue eyed boy. So, that is what I did. I mixed up a blond color that was similar to painted hair Ken's hair color, but I decided I wanted to do some highlighting and shading on the hair. I went to town doing that.
I hope you enjoy this guy. I really had fun transforming him. :)
You can really see the difference the steel wash makes.
Don't feel bad for the original. He's been to Hawaii.
Dilapidated-looking 48s33 leads a slightly better-looking (but still in need of a touch-up) 48s34 and RL307 on 1491 intermodal service from Port Botany to Sandgate.
This is the first Cool Girl I've customized for a long, long time (well...since October...)
I tried some new painting approaches, mainly embracing water as a way to dilute acrylic paints...
You can see more detail by looking at All Sizes, if you like.

This head is part of a full custom Zombie "old-school" horror film doll I'm working on, for my Etsy shop. I finished repainting her sometime in late June, or early July. I still need to work on her body modifications, and repaint that as well. I made a temporary yarn wig in dark brown, but I'm not sure the color works well for her. I already gave her dark black brows, there's nothing much I can do about that.

So This WONDERFUL dollie was once a 28'' Madeline Hatter! Bought two of them and intended to repaint the both of them. After thinking about it I decided One would get a little sculpting. I think she turned out FANTASTIC!!!! I love her little lip biting hehe SO CUTE! She's going to be the younger sister of a twin set. Her older sister will be "Pepper" and together they'll be PepperMent!!!!
Initially I complained about they're hair being a little sucky but after a boil wash and blow dry its super silky and soft!
