my lagona repaint...in the making ^^ she was a rescue doll that had blue ink all over the body...i am making a bat out of her ,wigless...and with her batwings ^^
Now she has her eyelash to be cut and her eyes need a point of light. I'm quite happy with her, but I'm still learning. Repaint it's much more difficult than what I was thinking.
3rd shot - Fisrt stage of reapaint. All basic colours and structure in place. When I saw this photo I started to get excited!
Yay! :)
Learned a lot from it and can't wait for a second :P I hope my daughter will like this girl, it's for her.
Sorry for the fuzz on her lip, that's not included :D Just didn't notice when taking the pic.
When I went down to the Arlington Heights Station to railfan last summer I found that they where repainting the wooden pillars and columns.

I like how Tessa (formerly a Skull Shore Ghoulia) came out :D I still have to re-root her but hey, I'm very happy with the painting job :P The tattoos I could have done better, I know!
So I got this girl on sale a while back and finally repainted her. And the next day I went and bought a new MH girl lol. Dunno when I'll have time to repaint her, but hopefully soon! I feel like I caught that darn bug again. :P
Anywho I threw her up on ebay if anyone's interested www.ebay.com/itm/170986456172
This is my repaint of the day... Still missing upper eyelashes. Poppy has my favorite sculpt to repaint. It's so versatile that each repaint becomes totally different without trying. Repainting Poppy is so much fun, that all my Poppies will be operated sooner or later. Even the most coveted ones like Switzerland and India. They just don't fit in my collection the way they are. Some will be sold too, like this one. Her name is Linnet, after the little grey and red bird. Even though I'd like to keep her, I spent too much money on five convention dolls. Argh!
For the first time in forever... I tried to repaint the full face. Well... I don't like my first attempt. My hands were shaking all the time! Maybe for the next time.
A visiting NS unit that has a neat past going by Moncton on CN 305. This was one of the very few to deviate from the regular paint scheme and graphics of NS and had the large Operation Livesaver decals on its hood. Now repainted in the current scheme

Noel Cruz is one of the most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community. He is most recognized for his character & celebrity based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray. His dolls are derived from several models like Gene, Tyler, Sydney, etc, by various doll-makers such as Robert Tonner & Franklin Mint. His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. Highly regarded among collectors and artists alike, Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints. Noel's specialty is with one of a kind repaints. The beauty of repaints is that almost no two are exactly alike just as no two artists are alike.

Wiped my other Bratz practice head and discovered some yellow discoloration on cheeks and lips. Interesting enough, there was no staining by the eyes despite being quite heavily painted. I have a feeling I didn't bother to seal the whole face before painting, but I don't remember. Either way, I suspect the culprit is either the yellow or the red paint.
God I been looking for my macro lens for over an hour @__@''
Here are the repaints I'm working on pre-sealing. For their owners.
