I had to use flash to take this picture, but her repaint is finished. I just love her face shape, but wanted round beady eyes for her.
Here she's wearing Toralei's default outfit.
Walls are Benjamin Moore 'Suntan Yellow' (Regal Select) in an eggshell finish. Trim is Sherwin Williams 'Extra White' (Emerald) in a semi-gloss finish. Ceilings are Zinsser Stainblock Ceiling Paint in flat bright white (straight out of the can). Light fixtures are West Elm's Sculptural Glass Faceted Flushmount - Small (Milk). Prints are a selection of National Park posters from etsy/PurpleMooseBasics
Monster High Dead Tired Cleo de Nile repaint. Finally got around to it, painted her yesterday. I thought it would be a good idea to paint some henna-patterns on her hands... Her teeny, tiny hands. That was quite hard and ended up a bit too messy for my tastes, but for now, it'll have to do and I'm not sure I want to redo it, ever xD
I also made the saree, though I'm either going to buy or make her a better one in the future.
Overview, taken without flash (also, I should probably have waited with taking pictures until the next day, since it was already getting dark)
I repainted her about 3 times.
She'll be for sale here; www.etsy.com/listing/100141966/lagoona-repaint
..in progress on this proud looking ex Navy patrol boat. A fine sight it still make looming over the flotsam and jetsom that typifies this strange area.
For years the whole thing has been white; they've now painted the constituent buildings in different colours so they look like a row of cottages.
It doesn't show well in this photo, but the main building, nearest the bridge, is a weird (to my eye) blue-green shade.
I am repainting the interior of my house.
I chose strong lines and shapes for my photo essay.
Perhaps down the road I shall post a before and after of the house, but alas I am not finished painting yet...
Today is my daughter's first day of preschool, and when I got back from dropping her off the mail lady was here and I saw this tiny white box with cute stickers on it and I wondered.... could it be my zombie???? :D And it was! Here she is! Home at last! And she looks FREAKING AMAZING! What better way to commemorate my daughter starting school than with some pictures of a lovely zombie??? :D
Thank you SO MUCH Xhanthi! She is amazing!
Here are some better pictures of the ghoulia I repainted.
I put her up for sale in my new etsy shop. I have only recently started to sell my stuff, I'm still a bit nervous.
Please check her out at my etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/MadeleineMaiStudio?ref=seller_info
She's only $40!
