barbie repaint (venduto)

1st shot - Before any work has started. The original Pierre DeVries paint job.

I like how Tessa (formerly a Skull Shore Ghoulia) came out :D I still have to re-root her but hey, I'm very happy with the painting job :P The tattoos I could have done better, I know!

This is an old Harry Havnoonian-painted Rossin that I bought in Trexlertown about 5 years ago. I've worked as a messenger on this bike. I've raced a season on this bike. I've had good times and bad times. I even tried to sell it and it still came back to me. Now it's time to bring new life to it. Sadly the adjust screws in the rear dropouts seized and snapped off. As well as the seat tube water bottle bolts. After stripping I noticed how much stuff they were trying to hide with the build itself. File marks, pitting, heat bulge at the seat cluster. The top tube cable guide and the pump peg were removed after stripping. Let the journey begin.

So I got this girl on sale a while back and finally repainted her. And the next day I went and bought a new MH girl lol. Dunno when I'll have time to repaint her, but hopefully soon! I feel like I caught that darn bug again. :P

Anywho I threw her up on ebay if anyone's interested www.ebay.com/itm/170986456172

Another doll with an amazing wig from beansproutmomo (insideouthouse on etsy!)

D2 604 was amidst a repaint during the Newport 'Shine a light' event. The far side, had already been painted into a standard black livery.

The red that it still bares however, represents an interesting perspective of what was believed to have been VR 'Canadian Red'. This was believed to be comprised of Blue lining at the time it was repainted.

Whilst a 'Chocolate' colour has been adopted on more recent locomotives, the D2 still bares the older colours on one side.

Still with her factory paint. Will strip and repaint her some day.

A visiting NS unit that has a neat past going by Moncton on CN 305. This was one of the very few to deviate from the regular paint scheme and graphics of NS and had the large Operation Livesaver decals on its hood. Now repainted in the current scheme

repaint by France Briere

Wiped my other Bratz practice head and discovered some yellow discoloration on cheeks and lips. Interesting enough, there was no staining by the eyes despite being quite heavily painted. I have a feeling I didn't bother to seal the whole face before painting, but I don't remember. Either way, I suspect the culprit is either the yellow or the red paint.

Frankie Stein - Roller Maze Doll

About a year ago I tried to repaint her lips, cause I really didn't like them being neon-green.

But it was a totaaaal disaster XD

First I didn't use any sealer (back then I didn't know that you have to use it) so the acrylic paint totally stained her face o_O

Then I tried to remove the stain by using some peroxid-stuff, and it completely discolored the face (the bottom of her face). It visibly got much lighter than it was before TT^TT

Now she finally got a repaint, I must say like her much better now^^
