A visiting NS unit that has a neat past going by Moncton on CN 305. This was one of the very few to deviate from the regular paint scheme and graphics of NS and had the large Operation Livesaver decals on its hood. Now repainted in the current scheme

About a year ago I tried to repaint her lips, cause I really didn't like them being neon-green.
But it was a totaaaal disaster XD
First I didn't use any sealer (back then I didn't know that you have to use it) so the acrylic paint totally stained her face o_O
Then I tried to remove the stain by using some peroxid-stuff, and it completely discolored the face (the bottom of her face). It visibly got much lighter than it was before TT^TT
Now she finally got a repaint, I must say like her much better now^^

Noel Cruz is one of the most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community. He is most recognized for his character & celebrity based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray. His dolls are derived from several models like Gene, Tyler, Sydney, etc, by various doll-makers such as Robert Tonner & Franklin Mint. His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. Highly regarded among collectors and artists alike, Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints. Noel's specialty is with one of a kind repaints. The beauty of repaints is that almost no two are exactly alike just as no two artists are alike.

More repaint practice! I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this now. There's a long list of stuff I want to improve on, but I'm leaving those for the next head. I say this one's done now. Tomorrow we'll see whether it survives a final layer of brush-on varnish.

I am repainting the interior of my house.
I chose strong lines and shapes for my photo essay.
Perhaps down the road I shall post a before and after of the house, but alas I am not finished painting yet...
I wanted to keep my Physical Deaducation Ghoulia because her hair is so thick and the color is so rich, but I'm spoiled by the jointing system on the newer dolls. D: It's frustrating trying to pose her with the elastic when the newer dolls have pegs. I actually wanted to keep my Dead Tired Ghoulia's default painting because I think it's really cute. I really like how my repainted Ghoulia has freckles though. :,3 She's so cuuuuute I don't want to wipe her.
Monster High Dead Tired Cleo de Nile repaint. Finally got around to it, painted her yesterday. I thought it would be a good idea to paint some henna-patterns on her hands... Her teeny, tiny hands. That was quite hard and ended up a bit too messy for my tastes, but for now, it'll have to do and I'm not sure I want to redo it, ever xD
I also made the saree, though I'm either going to buy or make her a better one in the future.
Overview, taken without flash (also, I should probably have waited with taking pictures until the next day, since it was already getting dark)
