Color: Valspar Woodlawn Silver Brook
Where: Kitchen
Earlier this month, I took the liberty to paint the walls. They were originally this really dingy yellow custard. So this weekend my husband and I decided to add some color to the room. Tada! It's a grey-blueish color. Part of the DIY kitchen project is we want to restain the cabinets, repaint the trim white, redo the counter tops and backsplash. Of course, this will be done overtime.
Here she is! My first monster high repaint. Although, its more like, redrawn/pasteled cause the only "painting" I did was the gloss on her lips.. too afraid I'd mess up what I already have and I quite liked it for a first try!
Later ill go over her pastel eyes with paint and if I don't like it ill redo it. After all, this one has sadly become my test subject since the body is broken! :(
Anyway, how do you like her? ^_^
Soooo... after a long time, I finally got a Spectra!
I've been wanting one ever since she was first released, but then... I always got an arrow at my knee :B
But, these past days there were a series of events that made me finally go and get one XD (and I was lucky that they had her at the store 8B)
As always I wish I'd given her eyes some more detail... #fail
Well, keep training, keep training :V
Now I just need to give her a name!

This is my ooak doll „Kleinröschen“ (little Rose) from the fairytale movie “Three wishes for Cinderella”.
The base doll was a Mimi Bobeck doll, fully repainted and her hair chopped off and restuck in brown.
The dress was made of red chiffon and different fabrics for the train.
Since the actress was as tall as the prince and the Mimi Bobeck doll is quite short, a wooden block hidden underneath her dress adds to the height of the doll ; ).
While I disliked the character when I was a child, I’m a huge fan of her now! She is full of energy and has a lot of body positivity. While the other ladies are simply waiting for the prince to come to them, she steps up and grabs him!
An ex Connex Jersey Caetano Nimbus bodied Dennis Dart undergoing a repaint into new owner CT Plus/Libertybus colours. Thanks S.G. 14/02/13
The repaint of Hannu was primarily a black wash of his upper body and some touch up of his green boots and belt.
My most recent repaint, I finished her the other day. I'm going to give her real eyelashes as well, I'm awaiting them in the mail, should turn up next week. If anyone has any tips on how to go about it (I've a few ideas) please let me know! It's something I have experimented with in the past and want to use more in future customs to add more depth. She'll also get a reroot or a nicer wig, not sure yet. I just cut the peg off the CAM ghost wig. I wish it was nicer than it is. Still the short hair suits her, looks cute. I'll update as she progresses.
Full repaint by me, using predominantly acrylic paints, some watercolour pencil and pastels. Brush with pearl micro pigments to give her a sparkly complexion :)
My Devon got a new look today since her old face up got all messy in my move to China. I went all futuristic and weird with this one and had lots of fun. Not sure how versatile she will be though as no wig suits her better than being bald! :D
She wears a Syb shirt, Numina shoulder strap and Inamorata belt.

This is another commissioned repaint of a MH doll- this time featuring one of my personal favs- the beautiful Rochelle.
My first Rochelle repaint, and she came out looking like Cheshire Cat's cousin lol. Did she put a whoopie cushion under someone's chair cushion, or did she just stab someone repeatedly? She did something bad, for sure.
She's for sale over at etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/101811094/rochelle-goyle-monster-hig...
10 of 40. A series of largely random pictures taken whilst travelling as a passenger aboard the CMA CGM PUCCINI a 65,000 ton container vessel. The voyage was from London to Perth during February and March 2017. The ship takes up to 6 passengers (initially only my wife and myself) and the route was around Northern Europe, Gibraltar, the Med, Suez Canal, East Africa, Reunion and Fremantle (Perth Australia).
