This is the first Cool Girl I've customized for a long, long time (well...since October...)
I tried some new painting approaches, mainly embracing water as a way to dilute acrylic paints...

Not a very good repaint, far from my best, but not as bad as I thought.
I was sitting in my living room feeling an urge to repaint, but I didn't think I had anything that I wasn't attached to the face of. Then I remembered my doctor Barbie. So I decided to try my first full repaint, which you can see I'm not done with yet. I first attempted to give her open eyes, but for some reason painting along the indentations for eyes gave completely different results on each eye. Finally I gave up on that and decided on a closed eye repaint. I'm gonna do a touch up soon. And do the lips.

This fashiondollhouse repaint from ebay was too gorgeous to pass up. I've put her in a Karen dress, shoes from Eugenia Wicked Narcissism, and earrings and necklace from lovelygirl.
My first ever Doll repaint. I actually really like how she turned out even though she is not done yet. I'm going to add more detail later.
I enhanced Mei Ling's paint (eyes, cheeks, eyelashes) by Dianna Effner and also re-wigged her with a good quality mohair wig. I renamed her Olivia.
My wife has been repainting Barbie jewelry for fun. This was a solid plastic single-color piece that she turned into a silver/turquoise thingie. It looks really good, but doesn't quite sit right on a Phicen body.

She just arrived yesterday (Thanks Michaela!) and today i just couldnt resist doing her repaint. While she was in transit, i was planning on using berries and nudes for color, though i would still have to see her skin tone if it will work. and it did. Now she's my african queen, and cant wait for her to be my fitter. :D
